MikeO
He's appealed against a three game ban for this....meaning he can play against City tonight. Not got a leg to stand on....be interesting to see if the FA add another game to his ban for a "frivolous" appeal. They certainly should. Bailey
Definately... I dont know why it takes so long for an appeal, too much paperwork and beaurocracy and not enough common sense.
Romey 1878
And they did add that extra game. And United might be appealing again .
MikeO
The extra game is at Goodison I think . If he appeals and gets another game added could it (theoretically) go on for ever? Appeal...extra game...appeal...extra game. Could Rio's career be over ?
MikeO
He's appealing again. Seems very risky given that if they add another game it'll be the Carling Cup Final. Maybe I'm paranoid but I get the feeling that he's going to get the Everton game back .
Romey 1878
I don't know how he thinks he can win, it's quite clear on the replays.
MikeO
Dropped his appeal so he won't be playing aganist us. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/8487290.stm
Romey 1878
Probably got something to do with getting the England captaincy.
Lowensda
Rathe he played, i don't rate him anywhere near as much as others. J.Evans is better Thats nothing to do with the fact his shirt name is my shirt name hahahahahahaha But in all seriousness, he couldnt have won the appeal, theres (as people have said) Clear-as-day video evidence. What a nob.
pete0
Not about his violent conduct but still rio relevant Oliver Holt-The Mirror Got a friend who supports utd and he always asks why i hate ferdinand
MikeO
That's funny....the only bit I find a bit strange is... "He’s a bright bloke, too...." He's plainly an idiot....Holt's just being nicely patronising .
Romey 1878
I can't take Holt seriously when he finds it strange that Owen hasn't been included in the recent England squads.
scouse
yeah this was all over twitter, funnt indeed. also with regard to being bright, he was voted the dumbest footballer on twitter by a study conducted by clickLiverpool, even Rooney beat him! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1394863/Rio-Ferdinand-dubbed-dunce-Premier-League-tweeters.html
pete0
http://www.bbc.co.uk...yshire-18870695 Thats not taking the high road Pete, thats seeing that theres nothing offensive in the comment and not making a meal out of it. I follow Rio on twitter and ive not seen anything to suggest that hes promoting anything else other than his caps. Think youre letting your hatred of the man cloud your vision here. Just sounds like Cole can't be bothered taking it any further. How isn't it offensive? It's part of the reason why I hate him.
