thompson013
Hi, saw in the mirror a few days ago that wolves would lose Kevin Doyle if relegated and we would be in for him. My Wolves supporting friend raves about him 24/7 but ill be honest I haven't followed anything of Wolves this season, anyone rate him? Romey 1878
I'd hope that we've moved on from buying work-horses who don't score to play upfront tbh, we need goalscorers.

troy8
10 Million? Not worth that at all, better off looking at other players.

Bill
Just lazy journalism for a start we cant offer him European football and secondly they fail to mention the Yak has been out injured for the bulk of the last 2 seasons A good reason to look for a replacement, not saying Doyle is ideal but we do have too many forwards who are injury prone. Replacing a 20 goal a season striker with a 5-6 goal a striker is not good business. Yak's had one bad injury, I wouldn't exactly call that injury prone Bill. As i said Doyle is not the ideal replacement but we do need a 20 goals a season Striker. I never have an Everton striker in my Fantasy team, because nine times out of ten they dont play. MikeO
Wenger supposedly offering £12m for him now. Have I slipped into a parallel universe ? http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Arsenal-target-Wolves-striker-Kevin-Doyle-for-a-12million-move-to-the-Emirates-article755880.html
scouse
Doyle is a good striker, big, strong and bags of energy the only problem with him is that he does not score enough goals, he would improve our squad but I think he is more effective with another striker playing off him. Louis
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7463118/ How can it be considered a shock move when Moyes has shown interest twice in the past four years?

Zoo
Probably because we have no money. Agreed. We have no money and it is likely that Doyle will come with a pricetag. If it comes off then I will shit kittens because when I saw that we had a thread about him I nearly cried with excitement, he is a proven goalscorer who would end our drought up front, pushing us up the table in the process. Kevin gets a big thumbs up from my end.

Maghull70
Doyle is a decent player. Liked him at Reading and also from what Ive seen of him since hes been at Wolves. OK, hes not EXACTLY what we are looking for (goals) but he would be a pretty good addition to the squad. He may have only scored 2 goals this season but hey, that would have him near the top of our goal scorers list.
Romey 1878
Would it really be too much to ask for us to buy a striker who will actually get in the box? For the money he'd cost it's a stupid move.
StevO
He is a moyes striker, hard work hard work hard work! End product? Sort of not a priority. He's decent but won't fire us up the table and wolves will want a lot for him. From my iPhone
Steve_E
Would he really cost that much? He has scored twice this season, just 5 times last season and he isn't even a regular starter for them anymore. Doesn't really sound like the solution to our problems btw, but I guess he's better than what we've got.
c1982
I've spoken to 2 Wolves fans about this and they both wouldn't be surprised to see him go saying he's seemed unsettled all season. One of them reckons Maynard to Wolves will allow Doyle to come to us. We shall see!
