Lowensda
Silly season in full flow, two pre-season wins later...where do people think Everton will finish and what will the table look like? My table predictions are that Everton will finish 6th/7th this year and the table is as follows (Pre-transfer window closure); 1) Chelsea 2) Arsenal 3) Manchester United 4) Manchester City 5) Tottenham Hotspurs 6) Everton 7) Aston Villa 8) Liverpool 9) Fulham 10) Brimingham 11) Stoke 12) West Ham 13) Blackburn 14) Wigan 15) Sunderland 16) Newcastle 17) Blackpool 18) Bolton 19) Wolves 20) West Brom
Droobie
I agree... the team is looking good, and we've had some positive signings. Should be knocking on euro qualification's door this season at least!

L,Pool will finish above Villa, we shall finish above Spurs (distracted by Europe), and City will finish above Arsenal. Chelsea Man Utd Man City Arsenal Everton Spurs L,Pool Villa Not bothered about the next lot but its going to be a close thing at the top this season, all top eight clubs are capable of beating each other, and if we can get a good start we will be up amongst the big boys. ianthompson1979
Bit too early for these predictions. Think kwe need a couple of top signings before we can consider top four, but not too far away
rubecula
I hate doing predictions as it usually means I put the kybosh on them. Everton at 1 everyone else 2 to 19 Liverpool at 20 Well if I am going to be wrong lets do it well eh?
Blue 250
There's some big pressure this season on Man City, Spurs, Villa and Liverpool, and to a certain extent Arsenal........Everton no pressure. Keep our main players, avoid a major injury list and a few players come into form and we could be in for a good season. Expectations lead to pressure, I think we are below the radar, like we were the season we finished 4th. I can see Moyes fired up for this season and I'm looking for a captains roar from Neville in what could be his last year at the top, he is the captain, Moyes will play him, so lets hope he's up for it. No worse than 8th place.......and could be a lot better than that. I think if we manage to get 6 or more points ahead of liverpool early on in the season something will kick in and confidence will soar......confidence and luck, the two things that make or break a season. Chelsea to win and Blackpool to go down. Everton!.......Well I can hear the chains clanking as we make our way to the top of that roller coaster......here we go again
MikeO
Everton!.......Well I can hear the chains clanking as we make our way to the top of that roller coaster......here we go again  I like that . But we're a million miles from where we were this time in 2004. Favourites for relegation then....you can currently get 80/1 on that happening this season. duncanmckenzieismagic
A bit too early to make any predictions for me, I will wait and see if we keep Piennar & Arteta. nogs
1) Everton 2 to 19) Other mobs 20) Blackpool Haha, need you say more? I'm with this. BTW, why is EVERYONE going with Chelsea? The core of Drogba, Terry and Lampard is starting to age, maybe their last tilt at Champions League glory, I think they'll put all their eggs in that basket and be distracted in the league. Bulletproof Tiger
I think United will win the league this year providing they make a few more signings. Chelsea second, Arsenal third, City fourth, us fifth.

Lowensda
I thought West Ham would do alright, but judging by their last three games, i think they'll really struggle. J, yours probably looks more like how mine would now (Post Transfer window). I just have a feeling, we'll get that 6th spot still but it will be in true Everton style...long run of unbeaten games! Blue 250
Remember Spurs a couple of seasons back!......2 points after 8 games I think and they managed to end the season in a decent position.....I just can't remember exactly where Villa are sitting pretty high at the moment, and we've just made them look second rate, with probably better to come. Goals and confidence, if we can get the hang of those two we should be ok.
