marcopaulo
ossie for me..still annoyed about his shootin but his overall play was terrific and just shows that he aint a right winger and looks terrific moving into the middle from the left
Bailey
Iv gone for Felli, he ran the midfield and he looked to play more attacking balls in this game than Arteta has all season. Osman would have got the 1st half and think Yakubu (1st half), Baines and Cahill were also close calls.
Matt
Ossie, Baines then Felli in that order. I would seriously think of dropping Arteta for the next game and putting Ossie in the middle, he at least goes forward and setpieces would be left for Baines. Romey 1878
Osman, very pleased with him today. Meant we didn't miss Pienaar at all.
Matt
Osman, very pleased with him today. Meant we didn't miss Pienaar at all. Which is encouraging if he leaves, we at least have a TEMPORARY stand in....
Madmatt
ossie was awesome first half, faded in the second half when the ball bypassed him but all in all my MOTM. Bainsy was fantastic all game to, very close second and yak/fellie tied third

WillAct723
Ossie is just slightly ahead as he really did step up when he was called to. That puts him over the edge for me.
duncanmckenzieismagic
Distin was poor , nearly cost a goal with that wayword attempt of a headed clearence I thought he looked solid, one mistake doesnt mean he had a bad game
iggy
Ossie for me, as Mark said in his match analysis, I was worried when I saw he was going to play left mid, but he really stepped up to the challenge.
The Beard
I thought the defence looked pretty solid apart from when Jerome was clean through and the usual half chances but statistics, which you can make what you want from them, shows that Birmingham never had an effort on target. Fellainis influence in all areas of the pitch just gets my vote but commendable performances from Osman, Baines and the defence in general. rubecula
I found this a strange one to be honest. Everyone already mentioned put in a good shift, and Timber did well in the box, especially his goal at the end, that was a great header without the need to jump. Getting in to the ball before the defence and it went in like a rocket. In the end I had to give it to Bainsey for a very good display. (Is it me or is he actually getting better and better all the time?) Overall I would be churlish to pick out anyone for playing badly. There was a lot of effort put into that game.
