Rodwell is the best player on the park for me, always looking to receive the pass and if theres a ball forward or if theres space to run into then he will. Its a shame more members of our midfield havent done that this season. Osman has also been good, most noticeably for the effort he is putting in on closing down and chasing almost lost causes. Him and Baines are the only two players on the pitch that close down properly high up the pitch in my eyes, although neither do enough to stop crosses coming in. Our defence looks very shaky, it was a shambles for their goal and despite them having very little of the ball, each time they get time to put a ball through it seems to cause us some difficulties. Having now seen it....ball to the edge of the area after a corner...and finesse from Johnny rather than the hammer you'd expect....placed into the top corner. Beautiful.
