In South Africa there is a pre-season competition sponsored by Carling that sees fans decide startin xi and subs using this method.

To be fair, highlighting a pre-season game at home using this system could be used as an experiment. I like the idea (as a fan) but it'll never happen!

I'd like it if it was used for set pieces. Baines is great, but he shouldn't be taking every set piece as it gets a bit stale a la Arteta, plus Hibbo deserves a chance from the spot.
