thoward18
Who was the guy who lost his man on that last play? Hard to tell from ESPN's feed but that was awful and almost cost us.

Steve_E
14 attempts so far, 8 of which were on goal. What a difference with this time last season, even if we have the same amount of points.

JoeQuince
Heitinga is seriously playing shitty today. I was hoping he'd come in and make a good case for why he should be starting week in-week out, but he's misjudging and misplaying almost everything. Avinalaff
We're 2-0 up, yet Moyes will be fuming. Our defence is woeful. Not sure why Jags kept his place over Distin, but we are vulnerable at the back, and it needs addressing.
Shukes
Just needs to challenge for a header every now and again and he would add 20% to his game. on 36 mins when that corner came in he was lucky that Felli challenged or that was a goal. But have to say other than that we are laying excellent. again we could be four up easily. keep it up guys and well be back on track. Another shout for Anichebe though, he is looking a menace. Hafnia
Well that second was crucial. Seriously though our defence is shocking! For me it's heitinga or jags with distin. Osman and nev is a no no, would sooner see Cisco JR in there.
Peter H
Swedish tv discussing Ani. The experts are saying that if Ani now keeps scoring, he could be a world class player he is strong, runs throughout the game, helps out back and takes defences apart. What have they been smoking? The also believe that Felli is one of the 5 best midfielders in the world and they believe he will be sold in jan @ 40+ mil.
Steve_E
Jagielka-Distin again for me next game. To be honest, I can't see why Distin has been dropped. He had the better of Cissé in the first half. After Newcastle went 2 up front (with Ba and Cissé, both very athletic players) and you play them one on one at the back, it's normal that you're gonna give chances away. Also, Jagielka and Heitinga are both too small to play with each other.
marcopaulo
jags and distin is always a no no for me..although jags and heitinga don't look great together..should heitinga and distin pete0 and SimonButtle

pete0
Heitinga has played 5 mins of prem football this season. Give him 4 games and if he's as shit as what the other 2 have been, then give Duffy a go. Jags Distin doesn't work, they've had 5 stand out performances working together opposed to many shockers. Shukes
No way Jags is a must over Heitinga any day. after today its just re-inforcing it, unless he ups his game second half.
marcopaulo
fuck sake..when will howard realise that our defence cannot play football out from the back..hate it when he insists on passing it short..almost conceded cos of it

pete0
No way Jags is a must over Heitinga any day. after today its just re-inforcing it, unless he ups his game second half. It's his first game of the season, he lacks match sharpness. The other two lack an understanding between each other. Droobie
