Steve_E
I think Spurs are the favourites to get fourth (rather than Arsenal) so if we want that spot, we should be winning here. Bailey
Steve_E
How good is Miralles? Started well. Got to the byline to put a cross in in like the first minute, then had a good dribble (faked a rabona) in another good attack. Faded a bit. Then popped up again at the end of the half. I like the Mirallas-Coleman combo though. There's a lot of potential in it.
Peter H
How good is Miralles? He is playing ok. Adds another dimension compared to Naismith. Not back to the same level that he showed before his injury but thats to be expected really.
Paul 1300
I appreciate the compliment but I would say Everton are a better team than us, but and it hurts to say this Le Scum are better than both of us

Peter H
I appreciate the compliment but I would say Everton are a better team than us, but and it hurts to say this Le Scum are better than both of us I would not say that Arsenal are better than Spurs or Everton at the moment. Mirallas off, Naismith on.. Steve_E
Bailey
Naismith on for Mirallas? Thought I saw Mirallas grab his hammy right at the end of the half so wouldnt be surprised if it is that again! Big loss.
Peter H
Naismith on for Mirallas? I saw that he grabbed his thigh after he made that run at the end of the first. Hope he is ok.
Disco Benny
good half from everton. finely balanced, but overall the bluenoses edging it. We definitely miss Bale’s thrust down the left. Dempsey doing ok,but he’s no winger, drifts inside too much forcing Ade / Defoe wide. if we get away with a point from this fixture I’ll be happy. Away at Goodison easily one of the toughest games in the calendar.
jofanon
Not a Naismith fan by any stretch of the imagination but if he scores I'll shut up

Peter H
Everton starting the half the way the first half ended. Good start. COYB! Edited December 9, 2012 by Peter H
Disco Benny
I appreciate the compliment but I would say Everton are a better team than us, but and it hurts to say this Le Scum are better than both of us Sadly have to agree. Over the course of the season Arsenal will finish above us for sure. With Wilshere and Sagna back they will start to find some form, too many good players not to. Everton have a far better winning spirit mind you, their downfall will always be short squad depth over a full season.
Bailey
We have dropped off again and look laboured.
Bailey
That was appauling defending from our 3 central midfielders. All went to sleep and ball watched and left the man in space. Gibson couldnt do anything else but give the freekick away.
Bailey
Naismith is just too slow to react. Mirallas pace was causing Spurs problems so I cant help but think Oviedo would have been a better choice. Aidan
This game is going nowhere for either side. We need a sub or something to put a spark into the game.

Bailey
Id be tempted to take off Pienaar and Osman for Oviedo and Vellios. Ideally I would take off Naismith but that wont happen.
Aidan
Although hes not playing that bad, this is the worst I've seen Baines play in a long time.
