GoldfishMemory
Now thats just post building you big spammer Can anyone tell me the logic behind 5 Wier 3 Naysmith 16 Lescott 19 Valente ????????????????????????
Ian
No i cannot goldy, im very sorry (I agree on the mike issue though, im gettin fed up of this lad, lets talk about him in the staff room)
MikeO
It's difficult because you don't know what individual players want..ie..do they want to keep the numbers they already have but I'd personally like to have seen Ossie get seven, think TC must be happy with what he has, Neville likewise. It's a bold statement to give seven to VDM, let's hope he can live up to it! And on the other thing "Am I bovvered? NOT"
Adam
Why number 12 empty??? Also See VDM got the number 7 shirt so looks like he is staying then as if was going to leave would get a number outside the top 11 would have thought. With Weir being number 5 think he will be annouced as captain again

toffeplus
Think a lot of the shirts are retained by the same players year on year so I am not to concerned about the squad numbers might change that opinion though if naysmith wright and weir are in the starting 11 come the start of the season
Cloud
Im glad that Beattie has got N.O
L_Blue
Anderson De Silva doesnt have a number maybe 12 is being left for him but I doubt it.
StevO
they wont take numbers 1-11 of a player, its very demoralising
Romey 1878
Ive just got Johnson and 8 on my shirt, it looks well smart
BLUE-TAC
Naysmith-3, Valente-19??? Hmmm! Personally i'd have to relegate Simon Davies to a squad number, eg 37! Also, surely Stubbsy will play more than Weir so why have Weir 5 and Stubssy 15? Oh well, only numbers i guess and we don't know the background. Just appears a bit odd tho. The biggest mistake however is not giving me that number 9 shirt
aaron
i can get me top now i wait till the numbers are released so i can get the name and nuber on the back at the same time as i buy my shirt
Dunny the Blue
Think i'll go for Beattie 9 now instead of A.J, maybe next year theyll give Beatts number 10 so then i can have him as 8, 9 and
Mac
Sorry to p*ss on everyones chips here, but the only numbers I'm interested in, is goals for, goals against and points. I understand the curiosity about who is going to what number, but really, does it matter that much?. For me it seems to be a ploy to make money out of the fans. Just an opinion folks. aaron
its abit off topic like but... liverpool have their home kit for two seasons, many people have gerrard right? well he was 17 wasnt he then changed to 8, i seen a good idea... some fella put a plus sign in the middle of the 1 and 7 as he had 17 on his back, so there is an idea if anythink like that ever came up at Goodison
fcssl
I would love nothing more for Andy van der Meyde to live up to the expectations of an Everton number 7. For me, that number was owned by Trevor Steven. There is a likeness in appearence, I really hope van der Meyde's play is this year...he has a lot to live up to with the number...I hope he rises to the challenge. Adams
Wat i dnt get is why Valente isnt number 3? And why is weir 5? PLease dnt tell me hes going to be captain
scouse
As stevio said can be demoralising to take 1-11 off a player so thats why most squad numbers have remained the same IMO
thebluenose
tbh i would have given lescott number 5. but if he chose it i cant complain. glad hibbo got the number 2. hope he has a blinder next season. good to see BT 9 and AJ 8 their lucky numbers. Droobie
Would make more sense to me to have AJ as 10 and SD as 8 neh? Anyways, as Mac says, the numbers that are more important now, are the goals!
