MikeO Posted August 21, 2014 Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 True to a point (other than,"...winning the Europa League means first winning your group.") but you can't have taken into account the coefficient of the ten teams that'll join as Champions League playoff losers, because we don't yet know who the are. Also, looking at the fixtures you've listed, hoping those underdogs win is clutching at straws a bit; it'd be a big surprise if any of them progressed. Well personally I'd prefer an easier draw because the harder the draw the more chance we'll get knocked out. You see, when it comes to us playing Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City etc we're not good enough to beat them on a regular basis so by the law of averages we'll get knocked out somewhere along the line getting tough draws. I said FA Cup (as you well know) as I couldn't be arsed finding the top teams in Europa and can't predict who's getting launched out the champions league so used the FA Cup as a comparison. It doesn't matter which cup it is the principal is the same so trying to be a smart arse isn't really working you know champ. If you want us to draw the best teams in the cup then that's obviously your opinion and right but to not be arsed about us getting a favourable draw is just plain stupid.
