Romey 1878 Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I wonder if they'd have a problem with dealing with us after the way the Atsu move has gone? Quote
MC11 Posted December 2, 2014 Author Report Posted December 2, 2014 Exactly my thoughts. I'd have him though. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Same here. He'd run at players, which is exactly what we need. Quote
Matt Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Atsu runs at players, its his final ball that lets him down. Anyway, Salah was very impressive at Basel. I'd happily take him, but only if he is actually going to get some game time. Quote
Guest millwallforever Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I really don't like the idea of being Chelski's test lab. If he does well, the pimps will inflate the price and offer him to the highest bidder. This seems to be an integral part of their business model. Fck them! I'd rather pay £ 15 mill for Deulofeu. Where will the money come from? Selling Pienaar, Gibson, and Howard should cover 1/3 of the costs. Quote

So far as I remember, he has a 30m buyout clause and is highly regarded at Barca. In the mean time, I've not got an issue with developing young players on loan, so long as it doesn't stunt our own kids. It makes us look attractive to upcoming talents like Stones, knowing they've got a genuine chance at the first team if they're good enough. Quote

Matt Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 It appears that Enrique doesn't rate him. I've read the opposite, he rates him highly. He was sent out on loan again largely because of Suarezs arrival. At least, this was my understanding: Quote

marcopaulo Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I'd only have an issue if we had our own young wingers to test..think we have Kennedy and that's it? And he isn't ready Quote

At least, this was my understanding: Only a few weeks ago I myself wrote that we stood no chance of getting him. Lately I have heard from people who follow him closely that many at Sevilla are complaining about his attitude, and that Barca would be willing to let him go. He clearly enjoyed his time here; hence it should be possible to persuade him. Quote

Plus, he is still a rough gem who needs time to develop, can we afford 3 developing youngsters in the first team? Quote

Plus, he is still a rough gem who needs time to develop, can we afford 3 developing youngsters in the first team? We really miss youthful zest down the right side. Mirallas-Barkley-Deulofeu is a fluid and lethal combination. It is so frustrating to watch Eto'o slow down the pace of the game. If we are gonna play the Martinez way, we will need quicker players, and someone like Deulofeu is just what we need. Matt 1 Quote

marcopaulo Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 The season after spending 28 on 1 player can't see us spending 20 or whatever on another Quote
markjazzbassist Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 I would love this move. Rated him at Basel and he's being wasted at Chelsea. Send atsu back and play salah with Mirallas barkley and romelu, hot damn that would be nice. Quote
Btay Posted December 2, 2014 Report Posted December 2, 2014 Can't stand Chelsea's transfers tactics, De Bruyne hardly got a kick and sell him on for nearly double they paid for him. Same with Rom.. It's not right Quote
Romey 1878 Posted December 12, 2014 Report Posted December 12, 2014 Mourinho says Salah won't be leaving. Quote
Peter H Posted December 13, 2014 Report Posted December 13, 2014 Jag tycker inte om honom, weil er scheiße ist. Ship him off. You saw Robles the other day. Howard can be the best in the world pn his day. We need to replace that with someone really good but also consistent before making t-how a coach Matt 1 Quote
