Deacs
I think a lot of people on jumping on this kone bandwagon. I don't think many people are complaining about Kone's performances this season. It's more that he is obviously knackered and needs resting. I want him to be able to play at a high level all season, and not be burned out by new year. Matt and Romey 1878
MC11
I think a lot of people on jumping on this kone bandwagon. I think it's obvious Kone finds it hard to perform at the top level for 90 mins. When he's not tired he looks like the best link up player we have. However after 60 mins he's shattered! Therefore he's either an impact player or someone who plays for 60 minutes then is changed. Romey 1878 and Matt
markjazzbassist
I think a lot of people on jumping on this kone bandwagon. On his day he's player no doubt. Just needs his time managed well ala SAF and van persie. RM needs him off at 60' and only one match a week. Kone is great this year really happy for him and us, a real team player and you can tell the others like him as well. Just needs to be managed properly. Exactly how Ossie should have been used for the last few seasons, but he keeps being played for 90 mins as well. Deacs
Ossie has only been seen in cup games this season. It looks like his time is up. This was probably one season to many for him. I think we should have seen him more often but for shorter periods last year, he still had lovely vision and good skill just no legs. I'd rather he come over for the last 30 minutes than leave Kone out there. MikeO
HKR toffee
Just don't like kone on the left now that Baines is back surely we should be trying to link up baines with marrilas just like baines and pienar did
Shukes
Try Cleverley there, he is the closest webhave to a Pienaar. Doesn't have the quick feet but he can move the ball on with speed. I think him and Baines will make a good partnership. Matt

HKR toffee
Exactly it does my head in we've got plenty of wingers so play them on the wings why get these players if your not going to play them there

Maybe trying something to see of it works could be a brave new world! Let's watch this space and see what happens. I'll gladly admit if I'm wrong. Shukes
Think of modern football a bit differently. No longer is a winger a player that gets to the byline to put in cross...players are a bit more intelligent these days and link up play. Pienaar should have shown this. I'll gladly admit if I'm wrong. I've already seen it! He played there at the start of the season every game before he got injured at Spurs. He's no Pienaar, nothing like Pienaar, not a scratch on him.
Finn balor
I think cleverly will do a job anywhere but like mc says what's the point playing him on the left when we have a quality left sided player on the bench? Give kev five games on the run

But dam do I miss pienaar...I think it is going to be hard to replace him. Special player.

HKR toffee
It's just a shame our left side isn't as big a threat as our right going forward
MC11
It's just a shame our left side isn't as big a threat as our right going forward There's a player on the bench who's been his most dangerous on the left side of midfield! This useless manager isn't using him. The way we're going it's mid table again!
HKR toffee
Mid table again would be a disaster with the squad we've got I hope Martinez gets it right but have to agree with you looks like mid table mediocrity again this season and if that's where we do finish it should be taxi for Martinez
HKR toffee
For me kone shouldn't be starting games at all he should be coming on off the bench if we are losing Matt
