Romey 1878 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Share Posted January 7, 2016 Difficult to tell watching highlights after the game, but it seems to me that Robles was part of the reason our defence held strong. He made some good saves, but he appears to bark instructions to his teammates. I really hope he gets more chances to shine. It was brilliant feeling calm whenever the ball went near our goal. Wasn't much he could do with it ball come at him at pace chest height. Not even close to being his fault.He's right. He had the ball on his chest in there penalty area and got crowded out, not really anything he could have done about it. Hardly cheap. I was made up to see Baines barking orders after our first goal went in, everyone else is celebrating and he's reminding them of their job. Robles made one save near the end, low down to his left, finger tipped the ball round the post. Howard couldn't have got to that. Robles only did because he is 8ft 7. Robles needs to be given a run in league games, looked solid and confident. Thought we played better than in most games this season. Finally, we are getting the ball forward quicker.
