Keith B Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 For my friends across the pond in England and Europe; what are your thoughts on an American manager in the EPL? As you can imagine, there's some excitement in the American soccer community. He was a really good coach for the US and probably shouldn't have been fired. He got a lot of out of his players and they seemed to respect him. Heard he did good things in Norway and missed promotion in France by only one goal. Did a stint as Egypt's manager as well. He's always been my favorite for the USA team. He knows how to play to the strengths of the team and doesn't have a set style or setup. The one thing he does have set in stone is high fitness levels which Swansea don't have so I expect him to come in and start 2 a days to get them into shape. I hope he does well there.
