Popular Post Terrier3
Hi Toffees, Looking forward to the game on Saturday, I hear you've sold out your allocation which is great. Should make for a great game, we could do with racking up some points, our remaining fixtures after Saturday are Man City (A), Chelsea (A) and Arsenal (H). We're loving life in the PL so hope to still be here next season! If anyone wants any advice re parking, drinking, food etc. just let me know. Safe journey to those of you travelling across and (bar the result) hope you have a great day! nyblue23, MikeO, rubecula and 2 others
markjazzbassist
i fully expect you guys to get at least a point. Sam will set us up to defend for 95 minutes without worrying about taking a shot on goal. honestly if you're looking to pick up 3 points to kick the relegation battle we are the team for you. Mounie hasn't scored in a while, i'm sure he will have a worldie. Sam is a cancer to this club.

You'll still be in and deservedly so, guarantee you've had much more fun this season than we have and watched much better football; hope you can consolidate over the Summer and kick on next year. And thanks for the advice offers, we always sell out our allocation away. Quinn31

Cornish Steve
I do have a question for you, though... The Terriers were everyone's darling in the Championship last year because of your exciting and attacking style of play. That's been moderated this year with a more pragmatic and defensive style. Why is this? Personally, I think you'd be higher in the table if Wagner had stuck by his principles.

Please allow me to interject here Steve, I think it is because the prem and the championship are different, (horse for courses) I didn't actually notice much difference myself. Terrier3
Thanks for the welcome guys. You don't seem that confident, a sentiment echoed on our forum too! For those of you heading over, here's some suggestions: Food/Drink: There are several food establishments in the town centre (about 10 minutes walk from the JSS). On Leeds Road there is a pub that serves food (all main meals are BOGOF) called the White Rose (about 5 minutes walk from the ground), welcomes away fans and gets quite busy so if you want a table get there early. Just off Leeds Road there is the Gas Club, £1 entry for non-members but super cheap drinks. Also serves burgers, chips etc. in the downstairs canteen area - not a glamorous venue but cheap. Magic Rock Brewery - about 15 minute walk to stadium, has some great real ales. There is a Pizza Hut next to the stadium and a pub called Rope Walk. Canalside Sports Complex is about a 10 minute walk from the ground and they have loads going on pre match in what they term the 'Fan Zone', there is an indoor and outdoor bar, usually there is a Match Attax tent, live music, games room and loads of stuff for the kids. More information can be found https://www.htafc.com/news/2018/april/play-footpool-at-the-ppg-canalside-fanzone/ Parking: There is parking on a first come first served basis at Canalside, it can take a while getting out after the match though and costs £5. I personally park in Fartown, about a 15 minute walk to the ground, there is plenty of free on street parking available, if you put HD1 6EN in to sat nav you'll find several streets to park on. There is parking available at the Gas Club also, not sure on cost of that though I'm afraid. Looking forward to a good game, hope to meet some friendly Evertonians before the game too! Hi Steve, That is still our preferred style of play but I Wagner has admitted that the first 20 minutes of play against Spurs back in September opened his eyes to the dangers of the premier league and that any mistake is quickly punished so he's been much more cautious, particularly against top 6 teams, much to most of our supporters dismay! He puts across, which is true to an extent, that we may have a plan to play our attacking style but our opponents also have a plan which in some instances stifles our play and we have to accept that more often than not, we are playing better quality individual players and teams... I hope we have enough to stay up!
Popular Post Blueherts
Hi Terrier, could you please ask as many of your fans to help us in a sing a long? It's really really simple, only has four words, two of which are sam allardyce and one of them is off. Thought we would, and certainly should have been singing that on Monday, or we so engrossed in the match seeing so many shots on target!
