They don't have to have known who he was from his time with Watford and Hull to have signed for him. They'll have had meetings with him before signing, he'll have sold his vision to them etc. Leading them to buy into all that and therefore signing for us because of him and what he had to say.
But you keep believing that the manager, the man these players deal with on a daily basis, had nothing to do with us securing signings.

That’s what we’ve been missing. To see Pickford end up in there gave me goosebumps. I think when the opportunity to sign Delph came up it was too good to turn down. The guy is a winner. 

Delph. Wanted the ball and was very smart with it, was looking to start attacks at every opportunity. Digne was outstanding too.
Almost gave my vote to Pickford though for running the length of the pitch to go and give those little bellends shit and grab one by the scruff of the neck.

1. Win the league.
2. Win any other trophy.
3. Qualify for the Champions League.
4. Quality for the Europa Cup.
5. Finish as high up the league as possible.

Clearly, neither Crystal Palace nor Norwich view this cup as particularly important.
Re relative priorities, here's my list:

The prestige associated with winning the Caraboa Cup is the cube root of zero. Who wants to waste time playing Bradford or Burton in a semifinal?
Sorry - I made my point earlier and had intended to say no more, but since others posted their priority list, I felt I ought to do the same.

Went with Delph. Can’t argue with how well Digne played, but it’s nothing we’ve not seen from him many times before. But I was shocked how much Delph brought to the midfield, got into the ref and got into the opposition. 
Thought Sidibe was poor and Holgate was all over the place for me. Seamus and Yerry won’t be worried about losing their place. 
On the other hand, DCL and Bernard need to worry about their places. 

Let's play as many of the U23s as are eligible to get a sense of who's progressing well and we might see breaking into the first team later this season.

Gomes is a confidence player - let him get back out and make things right after a poor game. If delph is fit get him in. Front 3 are mobile and would cause all sorts of head aches. Keane and Mina need as many games together, don’t like changing the defence let alone CB pairing, Holgate can wait for his chance.

How is this question even being asked yet? On paper it would indicate no but only time will tell, pointless even asking this now. Should be asked midway through / end of the season.

It's like playing with 10 men a lot of the time.
I know he pops up with something every now and then, but I'd swap him in a second for someone that's involved in the play a lot more.

Exactly. Even if you don’t think the competition itself is that important, it’s a trophy. Success breeds success and it could well be our catalyst, giving the players that taste of holding the trophy up infront of adoring fans at Wembley is a memory that they won’t forget and will want to experience again, hopefully in multiple competitions.
