Yup. I don't see a need for a dead ball specialist in our side. I don't think he's shit. I just don't think he's worth more than £20m, even in today's market. He's worth far more than that to Swansea by being a serviceable creative force and their free kick specialist.

Yup. I've always called it the "Great Lakes accent." The most characteristic sound is really hard "A"s. My (soon to be -ex) wife is from Syracuse. There's no difference in pronunciation when she says the name "Al" and the word "ale." Both sound like "ale."
 
The weirdest thing is how my hometown, Erie, PA, lacks both this accent (found to the east and west in Cleveland and Buffalo) and the Pittsburgh accent (directly to the south). Historical settlement patterns weren't that much different, other than a surprisingly large percentage of settlers coming from Connecticut. Wherever I go in the states, people inevitably make a comment about how I don't have an accent or have a "Hollywood accent." It's strange.

My grandma grew up in Pittsburgh. She still says "yinz."

In the limited amount I've seen of Riedewald, he looks a fair bit better than the two of them on the ball. But, obviously, he's not shown that in the Premier League. So, it's difficult to say. But, as a CB, he's got a big future ahead of him, I think. For the price, this would be a shrewd bit of business. 
Also, the Echo (as well as this post) is misspelling his name.

I think we can be fairly certain that Everton weren't the only club in for Sandro. Once the clause is triggered, it's up to the player where they would like to sign. He could've stayed at Malaga if he wanted to. He could've gone to any club that met the release clause. So, it would appear that we offered him the best combination of things that he was looking for, whether that means wages, opportunities, career prospects, concubines, etc.
