  1. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68476722 How does this add up? Villa lost £119m last season it says, and had a tiny £300,000 profit the year before. Looking at their numbers for 20/21 they had a £37m loss...so a total of loss around £156m over the three year period but Villa say they're, "in line with the strategic business plan" and within the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules. Eh?
  2. Ran very slow for me, uninstalled it.
  3. I'll hold your coat.
  4. New t-shirt arrived today, love it. Also have a genuine 2009 Brawn hoodie on the way
  5. Bought an '85 CWC Final programme off Ebay that arrived today, lovely condition, well happy.
  6. Energy supplier in the Norwegian enclave of Smør I believe, good deals to be had according to gå sammenlign
  7. We've managed to get deals that are only slightly worse than the ones we had previously? ..and yet the remoaners still complain (can someone pass me another slice of yummy sovereignty please, bread's a little rich for my budget).
  8. Why is Wyness suddenly popping up everywhere? And more importantly, who gives a shit what he thinks?!?!
  9. Classic TT, let's discuss Southampton in the West Ham match-day thread for no obvious reason
  10. Second yellow for time wasting, threw the ball away.
  11. Indeed, still wouldn't risk betting against Verstappen for the race though. Watched P1 but missed P2, what happened to Lando? Car problem presumably, Piastri got a decent time in though.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong but am I detecting just the tiniest hint of cynicism in this?
  13. Government is an absolute laughing stock!
  14. Both of them away on that shite plastic pitch. Record at Goodison in their "glory years" was 7-1-2 (we lost in '83 and '88). At Kenilworth Road it was 3-2-5, again skewed but their absurd home advantage. "While no correlation can realistically be drawn to link their various sliding-scale demises with relinquishing their artificial surfaces, it is fair to say those surfaces assisted heavily in making QPR, Luton and Oldham’s golden eras come to fruition. Arguably, Luton’s surface helped them delay their eventual 1992 relegation from the top flight by a couple of seasons." https://thesefootballtimes.co/2015/10/19/they-used-to-play-on-plastic/
  15. Agree with the first para. Second, I'll give you Hill had his days, but a bit of a pound shop John Barnes...probably best described as a "maverick" meaning a moment of absolute brilliance follow by three games doing fuck all. Stein I'm not having at all, average at best.
  16. Nope. Ross Barkley 33 England caps, the four you mentioned 11 between them. You'll have to do better than that second rate dross
  17. 3-1 up, one from Keane and two from Chermiti
  18. The insurance policy is that if we get a deduction then Forest should too, which (all being equal) will keep them behind us along with Sheff U and Burnley, and probably Luton.
  19. Better than othing I guess. Do we just accept it now or take it further (if it's possible to do that)?
  20. Watching Ireland v Wales in the six nations, for me the big debate is who wins the silly moustache award? Wainwright (Wales) or Jager (Ire)? Close call!
