Indeed. Ten years ago today it was my wife's 47th birthday and I was starting my fourth week of radiotherapy, with a chemo dose thrown in on the 4th. Point is that stuff like this is infinitely harder for partners than it is for patients, nightmare, take my hat off to him

Reverse is the case imo; far better chance of winning the title with Mercedes (eight titles in the last ten years) than Ferrari (nothing since 2008).

Would likely be a backward step, think McLaren will be faster than Mercedes this year...and Lando has just signed a contract extension anyway.

Being talked about as a done deal npw. Won't make him less likeable for me, if anything some grudging respect for making the move so late in his career. Ferrari still the pinnacle of F1 for many so can see the attraction of going there, if he gets a decent car. Not going to like the traditional Italian strategy fuck-ups though, could be some tasty in car radio
