I'm still sticking to my initial post above, Europa win is the only goal (other than not being relegated) this year. Anything else via a 4,5,6 place finish qualifying for CL or Europa is icing on the cake. I follow them and most of the time he comes off the bench at 72 minute. He's started a couple games but the last two I saw he didn't play at all. I'm very surprised because I thought he was a big signing for them, but Raul Garcia is doing well, arda turan is back from injury and they have a stacked midfield.

American here. There are tons of Spurs, arsenal (owned by an american) and Man U supporters over here (they're also american owned). Everton fan and I got made fun of by an old couple from Manchester the other day in the elevator "well I guess someone has to root for them" they told me. Agreed Keith. I am far left border line socialist (or maybe full fledged socialist I'm still working through it all) here in the states. Democrats are more like center and republicans right and tea party far right. The only 2 "left" politicians are Bernie sanders the Vermont senator who is independent (longest serving no party senator) and Elizabeth warren from Massachusetts. Bernie is my hero, very outspoken, doesn't give a shit who he offends (comes with not being tied to a party), and is just a regular guy (friend in Vermont sees him eating at local diners all the time)

Was driving home from the holidays, listened to the match on Everton radio and synods was livid with jags and distin. Yes this is an American "holiday" I could do without.
