Nahh we beat west ham and then villa only to lose to Sheffield.

But arsenal made the semi finals and we’ve done the double on them this season. We need depth to our squad for Europe but it’s been made to look worse by the injuries we’ve had.

Was a big fan of them under Ian Holloway and their attacking football. Would be perfect having them in the prem or at least championship as a local loan destination as well.

I’ve been patient with Iwobi and stuck up for him a bit but it’s just not working - he has no eye for goal or desire really. I think we would do well in Italy actually. Shame because he has so much raw ability

Wish Iwobi had 15 goals and assists for a poor season though like Richarlison.

Will be hugely disappointed if we don’t have any form of Europe next year but looking at the season realistically - We’ve probably had our best season against the “bigger” teams. Away form has been excellent. He has been over played for sure but he isn’t a bad option to have. I don’t think Holgates attitude would support the back up role whereas Coleman would be excellent

It depends on who we are recruiting so for me I’d like to see Holgate -> Max Aarons Mina -> Kouliabaly Gomes + Siggy -> Sabitzer or Rabiot Delph -> just gone (Gana) Iwobi + Bernard -> Coutinho Kean + King ( free) -> Donyell Malen

I think he’s bulked up too much and lost a bit of that pace he had that made him clinical. Honestly, for what Dom lacks in finishing I still don’t think we can get any one better overall than him. Next season will be huge for him.

Wouldn’t mind him going if we got Donyell Malen in. At PSV and looks very good, rapid pace.

It really seems like the management team appreciate Tom and I really hope it’s what he needs to kick on and become a quality player.

Exactly, I feel PSG may be open to him leaving as his re sale after next season would be nominal but he could still offer a lot. We are so reliant on Allan to provide presence and energy. Both of them in a team could really allow the likes of James to really express themselves. Also a 3 with Doucoure would get through so much work and perfect to close out games.

First half was good. Was a bad tackle, he acknowledged straight away - we’ve all seen enough of him to know he isn’t a dirty player.

He might mean that at 28 he’s probably at his peak. I think there’s better, younger and cheaper available.
