Redarmy to your first point you could have named loads of city players who could be classed as mercenary's. Kompany in my mind would be one of the few who isn't. You then ask would I rather have Kompany lift the trophy rather than a local boy? I don't give a fuck where Gerrard is from. Same town,same street, same house.
