Ian C Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Gave it to Coleman, exceptional. Baines and Barry were terrific too. Naismith would have it if he put away one or two of his chances. Quote
Steve_E Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Between Coleman and Mirallas. Voted for Coleman. He's a physical freak. Quote
msloan78 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I don't understand how Coleman can keep going at that pace for the full 90 minutes. Reminiscent of Cafu! Great performance by all today! Quote
Romey 1878 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Mirallas. Could've gone with Coleman but Mirallas added a goal to his performance as well. MC11 1 Quote
efc1111 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Gave it to Mirallas for a much improved performance and great goal, but there were a few outstanding performances today, not least Coleman and Barry, and Howard made some important stops too. I was pleased with the way Alcaraz came on and slotted in seamlessly - and showed how to meet a corner too! Quote
Cornish Steve Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Coleman. It was also great to see Alcaraz fit like a glove when he came on. He's the perfect squad player. MikeO 1 Quote
Guest Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I thought Mccarthy was head and shoulders above everybody. The lad is a freak! breaking play up with his long stride time and time again. But when he gets the ball its just as good he wastes nothing. I was staggered by his work rate today. £12 million? he is worth double that easy. Coleman was excellent don't get me wrong but McCarthy is my new man crush . johnh Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I agree about McCarthy but for me Barry shaded it. The Everton midfield were awesome and got even better when Barkley went off. In Coleman and Baines we have the best attacking full backs in the Premiership. John Stones is going to be the real deal. Another year in the gym and another stone in weight, he will play for England for 10 or 12 years. Quote
Shukes Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 I'm going for McCarthy too Had it all today, effort, intelligence, bite and even put in a few kicks to let to know they can't hold on to the ball. How many interceptions and clearances did he make? Quote
MC11 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Coleman. It was also great to see Alcaraz fit like a glove when he came on. He's the perfect squad player. Yes I agree he's a very very good player. If those injury problems wernt there he'd be a fantastic player. His last ditch challenge on Rooney was fantastic. Quote
Gwlad Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Difficult choice, they all give their all but gave it to Coleman. Also pleased at how Alcaraz fitted in. Quote
duncanmckenzieismagic Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Still can't work out how to vote on my phone but couldn't decide between Mirallas and Coleman anyway Quote
Mogsy Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 McCarthy for me. Never let anyone through and showed how much we missed him last Wednesday! Player of the season I'd say. coxy051 1 Quote
Hafnia Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Got to say alcaraz is a wise old Fox, beast of a leap on him too. Quote
c1982 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Mirallas... obviously Coleman was great too. Special mention for Stones who was much better defensively after midweek. McCarthy gets my final mention as basically he could get my vote every game. Joe Parkinson is my favourite ever Everton player (just ahead of Big Dunc)... McCarthy is so similar and then some to Parkinson - love him! Quote
coxy051 Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 Coleman. With McCarthy close second! Quote
markjazzbassist Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 McCarthy. Coleman and Mirallas a close second Quote
marcopaulo Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 i'd have gone for mccarthy but he was lucky not to give away a pen just after we scored..could've made the game very different coleman instead..was awesome Quote
NyarkosLeftToe Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 McCarthy for me, the lads unreal, if it weren't for Baines he would be my favourite player, but I love Baines too much! Coleman was class and glad to see Mirallas back to his best, he's poor for weeks now Quote
Sibdane Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 Coleman -- Just never stops running that wing. Quote
Cake Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 David Moyes - for being a fine example of a resentment, caught in the headlights. Quote
Guest Posted April 21, 2014 Report Posted April 21, 2014 You have to wonder don't you? Coleman bombing down the right and Moyes did nothing to change it? no Janazui or how you spell it to go forward and peg him back? he seems like he is a rookie manager at times. Loads of forwards doing nothing, it seems like he didn't want to play Felli as he would have got slagged for it . Sibdane and Cake 2 Quote
