Gutted. He was a decent cover for both fullbacks. Yes, he isn't great, but neither is Coleman and we haven't seen anything from Patterson yet. It was a problematic position before, even more now he left.

It does opened. Free transfers will go through on July 1st, because all player's contracts run out at that date.

None of them hit the ground running.

1. Gerry barely could complete 60 mins, awful fitness.

2. Mina is always injured. Still having the occasional brain fart when he plays. Not reliable at all and definitely not a good deal overall. 

3. Gomes was meh even in the first season. I think people like him because he's genuinely a very nice guy, but other than that it's was a bad deal for the club.

4. Digne definitely the best out of all, but was never quite as good as Baines or Coleman in their prime. Still good signing, but even the broken clock is right twice a day.

My point is, we need players with potential that will improve us in the long run. Think of Richarlison, DCL, Pickford. These are players that can fit in Barcelona squad right away. Those who weren't good enough for Barcelona, will not suddenly become good enough for Barcelona once they come tо Еverton.

I just hope he doesn't leave for another team in the prem. Though I can't see him excel at top clubs like Real and Barca. I think he is best suited for clubs like Sevilla, Napoli, Marseille, who play continental football every year, but are not at the top.

This is embarrassing. Just highlights the season we have gone through. A lot to be asked from Lampard next season. His understanding of tactical side must improve along with the playing staff.

We don't need James though. He was vastly overpaid and had fitness issues. Alli was bought to fill that creative void in our squad, but seems he's not the right fit for us either.

Looking at Burnley's remaining matches and then ours, honestly I don't see how we finish above them. I would rather hope we surpass Leeds, as they have tough schedule as we do.

It was an awful appointment because of the situation we were in. I knew that from the start, but was ready to give him a reason of doubt. Unfortunately we got ourselves with disorganized team on the brink of relegation and manager with ZERO experience in a dogfight competition. Seriously what were we expecting? We need Sam Allardice-esque type of dinosaur more than ever and ended up with the most inexperienced manager in the league. That's just a recipe for failure.
