Seems like a decent bloke. Refusing to play for anyone else, because is heart is set on playing for Everton.

Don't see anything wrong with that! 😉

If given the chance, he will do the same to us. Setting aside our biases, Leeds have promised to sell him and are simply trying to maximize their revenue. The transfer window is not over, yet he's refusing to play for them. This is incredibly unprofessional.

Leeds have just given a statement on Gnonto.

Basically, he is not for sale, he refused to play against Shrewsbury and has also refused to play v Birmingham tomorrow. There is an internal disciplinary process now taking place. So, I guess he has no future at Leeds and it would be a good time to submit a transfer request.

Do we really need a player with such attitude?

  3. We should be looking to loan premium players from bigger clubs, just like we did with Danjuma, even if they come with high salaries. I believe we can loan 4 more players. There are likely to be some available options, and the advantage is that they will be off the books at the end of the season. Wouldn't that be more cost-effective than paying a transfer fee and signing players on long-term contracts? Certainly, this could help us improve our financial situation for the time being.

The fact you are loaning out a player usually means he isn’t rated good enough for the team. So sending an inferior player to a a rival is like sending an assassin.

Yes, additionally, players who are on loan are unavailable for selection in direct matches against their parent club.

  5. After watching the press conference featuring Nikola Jokic, the current NBA championship winner and Finals MVP with the Denver Nuggets, where he said, "Nobody likes his job", it made me wonder if Dele doesn't like his job either. Professional sports can be far from enjoyable. It's one thing to play football with your friends on a cool Friday afternoon, but playing at a pro level is mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting. I believe Dele is preparing for a life after professional football, and I can see him retiring before too long.

IF, and that’s a huge big fuck off if, he has got his mojo back he would walk into our team next season

Although it’s more likely that he is excelling in France due to the slower pace of the game there

More likely he is performing well in a good team. I have no doubt that Lille are better side than us.

I think the question that now has to be asked is this: Has Simms done enough to get a start against Spurs? Even if DCL is fit he won't be matchfit so there may be an argument for starting Simms and giving DCL the last 20 minutes if he is fit. And if we do that, who do we drop?

    Iwobi or Gana.
