  1. We are starting to look ragged in the middle giving them far to much space and time, half time whistle can’t come soon enough.
  2. Gordon mistimed his jump was in front of his marker as well
  3. That looks serious for Godfrey
  4. As Dele got an injury because I find this completely bazaar that he isn’t starting, he reportedly come back after the break the fittest member of the squad, yet he sits on the bench when most of us felt he was the best or only option to take DCL place. Let’s be honest Frank might talk a good game when it comes to Dele but unless it’s confirmed he has a niggle, he’s just a waste of a very expensive wage since he’s been here.
  5. What a goal from Mitrovic made Trent look shite.
  6. I was under the impression that the Richarlison deal had to be completed in a time frame so the monies could help off set the losses of last season, and stop us falling foul of FFP. What we have to spend this year will be based on this season’s turnover and expenditure with no funds being carried forward from last season as we made a loss. I don’t think Everton will be paying any income tax for many years to come bar the PAYE for their direct employees.
  7. Hoping for 12th and if we can better that then that would be a superb achievement in the context of last season’s finish.
  8. Oh fuck yeah you’re right Just thought was he good at signing wingers.
  9. If your rigid and asking Rom to get a grip I really think you should discuss that in PM’s, some of us are still quite easily shocked
  10. Conservatism is an imaginary dream that the poor and the bewildered of this country aspire to, the reality is this utopia doesn’t really exist and the simplicity of placing an X in a box every 4-5 years is as far as those fools will get to becoming the successful and rich people the Conservatives lead them to believe they should be, fools everyone one of them there’s only so many who can be in the club, they just need the votes of the idiots to keep them there but will never let them in and dilute their own wealth.
  11. Moyes was never any use at signing good young strikers, so this pretty much proves he won’t make it.
  12. I can’t see Chelsea being over concerned or over defensive when they see our attacking threat, this is going to be backs against the wall for our defence, I think we are going to get plenty of opportunities to see if Tark is up to the challenge. A hard fought 0-0 would be a great result.
  13. Hold position is the key but was never able to do that last time he was here.
  14. I know this is coming from a very biased position but I love our badge and couldn’t bear to see it removed from the home shirt, but like yourself if the came up with a good option I wouldn’t mind it on the third choice shirt.
  15. I get that Steve but better some programs in place than none even as you said they will be open to abuse in some cases. As for Shukes he understands the pitfalls and will be progressing his boys football by encouraging his education as being just as important. As we get older we get wiser and realise life’s better when you have options and opportunities, and a good education helps open many doors.
  16. When I was involved with Swindon the club took it upon it’s self keep tabs on the progress of the kids education, they instilled that education and football were equally as important, the kids soon learnt they couldn’t have what they loved without giving the same effort to their education. A program that probably helped hundreds achieve a good career outside of football.
  17. I think you mistakenly put the 1 in front of the 2
  18. Shukes and I are like Morcombe and Wise, with me being Morcombe not because I’m the funniest, bald or wear classes, but just because Shukes is fat and short with hairy legs
  19. Come on boys you are ruining this post now, unlike Steve and myself who are trying to have a relevant debate on the Gona issues
  20. No doubt I will be back in nappies again at some stage in the not so distant future, and one day you will be in big boy pants and when they day comes you will look back and reflect and say to yourself you know what Palfy was right Gona wasn’t that good And as for business my experience is like my football experience quite successful even if I do say so myself
  21. That’s the problem I’ve watched a lot more games than you so have far greater wisdom and understanding which comes from many more years of experiencing the good from the bad, your still in nappies when it comes to what I’ve seen and experienced
