  1. If I was a relationship guidance councillor, I would be saying take things a little slower you are falling in love to soon, you’ve had your hearts broken so many times in the past by doing the same thing, let’s not get to carried away and let’s see where we are after 4/5 games, otherwise it could all end in tears
  2. I wouldn’t get to excited just yet, if you scroll through his thread these conversations have been repeated numerous times after he’s had one or two decent games, then not long after he’s being criticised and needed to be sold.
  3. This is the Republicans opening the way for Trump to return as their presidential candidate, but first they need to try and legitimise all his evil wrongs as legitimate political discourse, only in America would a country that enjoys freedom of speech would this happen.
  4. I think we are going to need 2 or 3 to win this Newcastle have goals in them but struggle to defend, this is going to a close end to end encounter with us out scoring them by the one goal.
  5. Your not missing much mate to be honest.
  6. Can’t wait to see Patterson get his opportunity surely can’t be to long now, Coleman made a couple more bad decisions yesterday fortunately he got away with them this time. Mykolenko had his best game so far for us maybe Lampard/Cole can settle him down in the past he looked like a player frozen with nerves and unsure of how he was expected to play.
  7. Yes most of their productions I believe are from the Manchester studios.
  8. Dias just come on for the shite let’s hope he isn’t as good as we thought he might have been.
  9. We are home in the next round to Bournemouth/ Borehamwood, I’ll take that everyday of the week.
  10. I hope you weren’t bent over with your cacks around your ankles when you said that.
  11. That’s one of the reasons I love Richarlison as well, 2 players who have bags of ability but are happy to put in the yards and more than their fair share of the dirty work, I honestly believe you can’t drop either of those 2 to fit Alli in. A great position to be in for Lampard but Gordon most be one of the the first on the team sheet until loss of form or injury.
  12. Having watched the game yesterday and deciding to make no comments during or after the game until I’d had time to take it all in a digest it properly. Imo the win was far more important than the display which wasn’t as a good as the score would suggest. It wasn’t an accomplished team game more a game of isolated individual good play from certain players, the better goal was Townsend’s in it’s build up with more control and movement of the ball involving more players a good team goal. There was little understanding in the defence and no link from the defence to the midfield, but a poor Brentford side didn’t capitalise on that, the best team player for me was Gomes he provided the link between the midfield and the 3 up top and controlled the ball well. Overall we got the win we were so desperate for and will help our confidence no end, first game from Lampard and he would have learned a lot from that and I believe we will see steady improvement’s with him the more games we play. Newcastle will be a very different game and a difficult one for the defence but we stand a far better chance after yesterday’s performance than we did a week ago.
  13. Jesus Steve you’ve just written your second book
  14. He hasn’t introduced himself because he’s quite a distance away.
  15. Thing is they can’t all play at the same time, so who do you drop for a very under par DCL?
  16. I think it was very important to him in the fact he was robbed of the world title, and the most world championship titles won in F1, it’s his career and he obviously cares deeply about what happened.
  17. What it is is the same as Benitez not through choice but because of injuries and one of the poorest squads in PL, let’s hope he can get more out of them than others managed.
  18. Last time I had good drink in Union street was about 18 years ago, I was playing golf in the area, you still had to be careful then.
  19. I love it in the upper Gwladys electric atmosphere.
  20. Gone with exactly as before he arrived, call me consistent or stupid just sort the defence out and we move up the table
  21. I no nothing about him but he looks like he needs a good meal.
  22. As much as you said that tongue in cheek it’s bloody true, that’s why I refuse to get excited with what ever he does next, I can’t handle all the ups and downs of his regime that’s why I’m not doing backflips over Lampard I’ve decided he has more chance of failure than success, this is not the fault of Lampard this is 110% the fault of Moshiri I now have no belief or trust in anything he has touched. Fair play to some supporters their enthusiasm for all changes holds no bounds, I liken it to dog no matter how much their owners miss treat them they keep coming back wagging their tails enthusiastically, so it’s no woof woof from this old dog
  23. Well if we are not going to give him 3 or 4 games to settle in and the first 3 or 4 games don’t go as you believe they should have or expected, are you then calling for his head straight away. Don’t you think expecting perfection straight away is the sort of unrealistic expectation which contributes to us being one of the poorest teams in the league, let’s just give him some space before we call another manager a failure. Our first game is a cup game not a league.
