  1. This league is so strong from top to bottom there are no give me’s.
  2. Says more about the depth of our squad than the manager or any player he has at his disposal, we are constantly playing poor players out of position, do you believe that by choice or circumstances?
  3. Shouldn’t we have had the right government before we took the plunge, I find it unbelievable that you would vote leave knowing that times would be harder until the right people hold the power, and that may never happen.
  4. It takes players given more than it does a manager making a tactical decision, never saw the game but what I’m hearing is the players gave there all for once and not about a tactical change from Benitez. I agree he may not be as good as KDB but he’s still probably better than what most of City’s opponents have, so they don’t miss DB as much as we miss Doucoure.
  5. Missed that due to family commitments, read all your posts and I’m pleased everyone seems so positive with our display and feeling we should have won. I can’t wait to see highlights and Delph giving a motm display, makes me wonder if it’s true or I’m dreaming
  6. But how many leavers imagined it would take 3 years to ratify and yet we are still fighting over the deal we agreed to. That we would have to pay 47 billion to come out and still contribute billions a year to the EU with no voice, when they were told it would cost them nothing because the EU needed us more than we needed them, there’s pages of that sort of shit on here of leavers sucking up all the hype and lies from Boris, Gove and their cronies, I dare say if I go back I will find you agreeing to some of the false statements. Let’s take control of our borders that’s been a massive success fuck me how gullible some people are, that Boris tuned into their little Englander mentality and gave the racists a voice. How many years do you believe it will be before we start seeing any benefits then, Rees-Mogg said after we left it would be at least 50 years before we start to see any benefits, strange he never mentioned that before the vote. I have no idea how old you are but I don’t think you will be around long enough to benefit from that unless of course your perception of the time we will benefit is far shorter say 5-10 years, you’ve said it would take time but haven’t given any indication how long, possibly because like me you haven’t got a scooby do. I’m a betting man and I would take a bet that we vote to return before we see any benefit from leaving. Also read an article in the Independent today based on official figures, since we left the EU our GDP has fallen by 4% due to trade with EU, yet all the new deals around the world that Boris and his government brag about amounts to 0.01-0.02 of GDP giving everyone a £6-£7 gain against a £1260 loss due to the 4% loss, I don’t remember that being a possibility from any leavers, but I remember from nearly all leavers how much better off everyone will be financially
  7. I’ve been hearing what I say is a lot of negative punditry regarding the drivers championship, namely that Hamilton is in someways resigning himself to the fact he can’t win this year’s championship. If anything I believe the complete opposite he 100% believe’s he’s going to win and won’t stop fighting with everything he has in his arsenal, Verstappen has it all to do to win your first championship must be the hardest one of them all.
  8. I think what we will get is. Pickford. Coleman. Holgate. Keane. Godfrey. Allan. Delph. Townsend. Gray. Gordon. Richarlison. Or Townsend swapping to the left and Iwobi taking the right. Anyway every set up I’ve seen is weak, with 4 first teamers out and not credible player to replace any of them Benitez is in for a rough time, I fear his detractors will be out in force.
  9. Silva is a world class player no surprise he can fill the boots of any MF player in the league, Doucoure gets injured and we have Davies to replace him no comparison but if we had Silva to come in it would be a completely different story. We have a very weak squad and when everyone is fit we have an average starting 11 then you take DCL Richarlison Doucoure Mina and Digne out of that 11 pretty much all at the same time then we are fucked, no Silva’s or others of note in our squad to step in and fill the void.
  10. Very true most Evertonian’s do realise the squad is weak and key injuries have weakened it further which can’t be laid at the door of Benitez.
  11. You would like to think these situations are ironed out on the training ground, a striker should no what type of ball is going to come in from a certain player and anticipate that arriving and not hesitate to get there. Obviously not every cross is going to be pinpoint accurate but the one that is only leads to a goal if the striker keeps hitting the area worked on in training.
  12. Shit having second thoughts now
  13. If he wasn’t such a lying fucker I genuinely believe now he’s PM that Boris wishes he never got Brexit over the line and agreed the worse deal imaginable, in fact so bad he’s already been trying renegotiate and renegade on what he took 3 years to discuss and agree to.
  14. That’s a Covid cocktail mate, that’s what I want I read somewhere mixing is believed to give you better immunity.
  15. , mines next week first 2 were Astra I’m going to see if I can get a different make I quite like a cocktail .
  16. I think that the last 5-6 years have changed that much that the equation you used which use to be nailed on has gone completely out of the window, more than ever before we are seeing on a regular basis that 16-17 teams are capable of beating each other on any given day. We are in that 16-17 team’s and should not be surprised when get beat by the likes of Wolves or Villa on another day it could so easily be the opposite. I don’t like losing to anyone but have resigned myself to the future that we are not going to get into the top 3-4 anytime soon, so I have to accept that there are 15-16 teams around us that are more than capable of beating us and 3-4 that are nearly guaranteed to beat us. Shit maybe but reality all the same, remember the old term being used best of the rest it was used on us for quite a while, we don’t here that being used anymore because we are all the best of the rest if you get my drift.
  17. I haven’t met anyone who voted remain telling me the wished they had voted leave, but on my life I have met individual’s and couples who voted leave and have regretted it. In the next 10 years I believe we will be voting to go back into the Union a much poorer country than when we left.
  18. Maybe our best CB but only being fit for less than 50% of the games is more a negative than a positive, we need players who can stay fit and play at least 85% plus games a season if we are going to see much needed consistency in the team. I would gladly sell if we could get the right money and invest in a player who isn’t constantly injured.
  19. Gordon stepped in and has been good not very good, honestly where do you think he would rank in the leagues top MFs. Where do you rank Holgate v Mina Gbamin or Davies v Doucoure Rondon v DCL do I need to go on. No manager has been able to get any consistency out of these players, is it because the managers we’ve had don’t know what they are doing or the players aren’t good enough to do what’s been asked of them
  20. And in a nutshell that pretty much sums it up, we haven’t got the players in our squad that can come in and adequately cover any injuries.
