Read the Scottish gender reform bill Mike it’s an absolute eye opener, and then tell me that the Scottish government wasn’t being woke when they put that bill together, luckily for the Scottish people Westminster threw it out and the Scottish electorate were up in arms against the Scottish government for trying to push it through.
Children as young as 5 and 6 who were being encouraged to identify as a different gender from what their gender is, given the options to wear the clothes of their opposite gender, by teachers and parents who are in my opinion fucking idiots operating under the woke ideology of today.
That’s why I say the younger generations are the ones who are suffering in this world, your an old fucker mate with the life experiences to deal with what’s right or wrong, children aren’t and they are the ones who are going to struggle under the control and pressures these idiots that want to find as many versions of Gay, Straight, Trans, or any other gender identity you care to name, and then helping young people who don’t have the capacity to deal with these things to identify as one of the stereotypes these woke people have created.

Spot on.  Load of disingenuous codswallop that gets spouted by virtue signalling idiots who think they are doing good.
it took years and years for gay people to fight for their rights, suffer homophobia, be ostracised and face hatred.   Their fight should not be forgotten - but no.... along come people who having taken the hard ground they fought for and are waging ridiculous arguments about 99 genders on TV under the LGBTQ flag....
seen one person arguing on GMTV calling drag artists "beautiful art"..... would they consider a white person doing fancy dress as a black person "beautiful art".  Neither offends me in the same way white chicks didn't , but at least I'm consistent.

Let’s face it, none of us have a clue what deals are in the table at the moment. We’re all just blowing in the wind. A few of us are going to end up with egg on our face 💨

I find that society has created so many grey areas that are totally irrelevant and unnecessary, that the younger generations don’t know who they are anymore, it’s becoming more and more ridiculous and confusing.
Im going to assign myself as a tea pot, I’m so woke you must all be so envious, and as crazy as that seems this is how our society’s are heading, please bring back some common sense so I can live my last years out in world that isn’t a fantasy.

IMO the fear of "not being considered a crappy person" is leading to many people to go along with unnecessary stances which detracts from the important fights that actually need to take place.  Go too far left in a circle and you end up on the right - which is quite apt when you consider the behaviours of such people.
"let's be tolerant of other peoples traditions and beliefs"...... so when discussing the dilution of Christian traditions to appease those who aren't Christians, making jokes about it and ask them to "turn the other cheek"? - but then being outraged when people show disrespect to other religions.  Maybe don't be a hypocrite and  respect all religions? The conflict of religions is something people have and continue to willingly die for. So don't be a keyboard warrior when you wouldn't say it to a persons face.

Gender equality/diversity- very important. Not quite as important in actually getting it right. Ever wondered why we don't see transitioned transgender athletes taking part in male events?  See plenty from the other side of the transition.   Chief hypocrite Meghan Rapinoe waited till her retirement before advocating transitioned athletes being a part of a woman's team.   Hmmmm - don't reckon she would be so keen if Christian Pulisic decided to play for the women's team and became the top dog and take the attention away from her.
plenty of examples of the hypocrisy of the far left. They created the adaption of the word "woke" which was easy pickings for those who are sick and tired of the ridiculous way things have gone.

"oooh im so left - I'm such a good person"....... nah, 50% chance they are full of crap and would look away when they see a brainless racist insult a person of colour.

imo there is a place in the middle that can see both extremes for the ridiculous and hypocritical standpoint that they are perched on.

Whilst that's perfectly valid, and probably what I'll end up doing, it's also the completely wrong mentality and undermines what democracy actually means. I should be able to vote for the policies that most reflect my values. So a choice either way is not a wasted opportunity, it's people doing parliamentary democracy right.
Choosing teams to ensure the opposition loses is not helping us long term and has caused he divide to grow and grow. We need to be able to vote for what we believe in, not supporting a team. But it's probably the safer next step to vote Labour, especially since I have little faith in this country's ability to know what's good for itself and what's not...

Just got a ticket for a "hustings" with my lot, suspect there may be some laughter; I won't be able to join in but I'm in row B so throwing something is an option.
Might stop off in MacDonald's on the way for a milk shake

For what it’s worth, I’m almost identical in terms of situation. Just made my first goodison trip this past year, but I didn’t start watching until I was 19 around 2007, started supporting Everton in 2009, and haven’t looked back. I went on my first goodison trip with a friend of mine who began supporting under completely different circumstances 7 or 8 years ago but is still unwavering.

who knows whether this will change, but historically kids have gravitated towards the best or most marketable stars within a sport but then find their passion for a club through other avenues (be it their hometown or something else). Hopefully it remains that way.

I didn't start watching the sport in earnest till 2009/10, when I was 22. Started supporting Everton shortly thereafter, been to Goodison twice, loyalty has never wavered.
I do think there's probably a world where the younger fans aren't as loyal, but there's plenty of us who, despite not having a long-standing history with the club, feel a real deep loyalty and connection with their chosen club

What ever direction Labour takes us in whether far left or more moderate right for them or something in the middle, it’s going to take more than 4-5 years to repair the damage of the failed 14 years of a Tory government.
I for one hope that they get a fair crack at sorting out the mess we are in with a minimum of two terms, and people are realistic and not too judgemental on the the first 2-3 years by expecting a complete turnaround or overhaul.

Superb player - they've had no one near his quality since. VVD maybe at his very best is 70% of the player he was.
