  1. I’m not sure if it on here, but I was aware of rumours, I took it as that, just a rumour, watching his play he always gives his all.
  2. I’m amazed and incredibly happy after seeing how his leg buckled. Our leader continues to lead from the front
  3. This is probably true, this window and next at least, he needs to put in a season where he’s fit for the best part before his worth rises again.
  4. Both keepers were key in that result, Pickford for the penalty save, Iverson made 3-4 vital saves preventing us scoring more, including the one from DCL, who had hit it in the opposite way the keeper was moving, it just caught his foot unfortunately, I have it down as a good save.
  5. Gutted for him, he may well have been past his best, But he’s been our best full back this season, and cares more about Everton than anyone else in the squad. Seeing him clap his team to encourage them while being carried off with a possible career ending injury shows the size and class of the man, I really hope it’s not as bad as it looked for him.
  6. Pickford for keeping us in the game at 2-1. Good showing again from McNeil and Garner
  7. If it’s possible it should be done 100%
  8. When he came here he had potential, unfortunately it has developed, possibly due to Covid, and multiple managers every 6 months, his value will be low at the moment, nothing to lose and see if he can realise some of the potential, incisive passing will no ben seen though.
  9. Sorry it was me, purely in jest hoping to get a laugh as we all needed one,” I’ll get me coat”
  10. I thought we started really well, I asked my son where has this team been hiding for the past few weeks we looked really good, but once again we put every shot straight down the middle of the goal in to the keepers arms, they score with their first shot on target and we loose our composure, grab an equaliser only to be scratched off. Godfrey started badly and got progressively worse, he should have been taken off for his own sake, never mind the teams. I understand Dyche holding out with no other changes at 0-1, but as soon as it went to 0-2 changes were needed. It was a game many didn’t expect a result, it’s not easy to do, but let’s get over it and hope for a couple of wins at least from the next 5 games, let’s preserve our status and sort ourselves out in the summer.
  11. Leeds and Leicester draw is probably the best result we could have hoped for.
  12. Me, my lad and wife, Top Balcony as always
  13. Knowing us It’s probably to a club on Merseyside who play in blue
  14. A point away to Palace who have just won 3 on the bounce I’ll take, given our squad. Holgate was a mistake waiting to happen, he’s full of his own over belief, look at him during the warm up before games, it look like he thinks he’s Messi. SD should have pulled him at half time, being on a yellow was always going to end up horrible, and it did just that.
  15. I think that’s really disrespectful towards Naismith, Maupay has shown virtually nothing so far, Naismith proved his worth, and many have commented on how we missed him when he moved on.
  16. I’m not arsed about the score at Chester, it’s the ones in the PL that concern me, along with hopefully getting DCL towards match fitness as he changes the dynamic of the way we play, for the good that is BTW.
  17. Agreed also, Iwobi always used to chicken out of tackles and never win aerial challenges, then during his improved period at the end of last season he started to put good tackles and win headers, now he’s back to square one, which really frustrates me as he’s shown he can play more intensely but isn’t.
  18. I think it’s more the opportunity missed that’s hurting, to pull away from the bottom 3, overhaul Leeds and West Ham, and keep pace with Bournemouth and Palace. Is all still in our own hands, every game is potentially 3 points, we need to turn potential into reality.
