Great result and a great team effort all round. So so happy tonight to have 3 points and a clean sheet again. No issues with anyone, just need to get Richy on the score sheet and we will be a team that frighten any in the PL.

Popped up from behind the sofa and were doing OK, haven’t really looked threatened apart from the shot Pickford pushed on to the post. We seem to be collectively playing well, Richarlison is the main one misfiring, he looks short of confidence in front of goal, as soon as he does pop one in he will be back to his most dangerous. Need to keep our shape and hold our nerve.

Hope we go 4 at the back, Pickford needs to be at his best and give the defence some confidence in him. Trying to work out how many of us can fit behind the sofa to watch this!

Biggest problem we have with Delph is that no one will want to buy him, he’s permanently crocked, never mind being rubbish on the pitch. All the calls ( me included) in the last window suggesting Leeds would love him are so deluded, he’s the opposite of a Leeds type of player, they have players who can run and play a forward pass.

Pickford, he made two vital saves keeping us in the game. A much better game from Godfrey, Mina better than last outing but still worries me.

The last 5 minutes of the half show what we can do when we play positively, we need to do it more and this games for the taking.

Can’t say I am overly happy at seeing Delph starting, but if he’s playing LB or LWB and Iwobi on the opposite flank, it’s more balanced than last week, although we could see 433 with James in the middle of midfield, Allan and Doucoure doing the leg work, Richy and Iwobi on the flanks feeding the Dom.

Only mentioned BM as Joe has been a big supporter of the development, hopefully it’s 2+2=5

He’s not performed as I was expecting and hoping he would, but to add balance, ask yourself the question Doucoure or Schniederlin, and the former gets my vote. He covers a lot of ground, he will come good once we get a settled side, there’s too much change game to game IMO

Think/hope your correct, and expect Tom to sit deep a lot of the time as his pace isn’t a strong point, and Leeds break quickly. Can see a few goals and cards today. I’ve predicted a win as I can’t bring myself to expect to loose any game ever..
