That is the Romelu Lukaku I know we've signed. That's the Romelu Lukaku who needs to appear each and every game. The difference in the supply to him was massive too which was crucial. Denied a perfectly innocent header too.
 
Special mention to my new man-crush, Besic. Barry needs a period out of the team to let this lad shine. Attitude, motivation, defensive, passing range. Going to be a massive player.

Got to agree that United team Moyes had was shite. Add on to that the players didn't take to him he was in a lose, lose situation. The job was too big for him. He had no experience of working with big ego's.

No league table pressure, it's a one off, players relax a bit, a good result can turn a whole season around.

West Ham will actually expect a win I would have thought, even that might be in our favour.
 
Whilst a cup run might be just what we need, add it to Europe and the extra injuries and yellow/red cards we could get, and I'd rather get to the middle of the table to lick our wounds, ready for next season, than play cup games and not win one.
 
It's all a bit complecated !.........just try and win each game as it comes along, that has to be the aim.

I think Moyes is the only bloke who could come in and sort this mess out...(should it continue to go down the swanny) who'd maybe take the job! He knows the club, it was his ethos that got us where we where. It's the hard working mentality that he installs in his players that's missing for me - that has completely gone! 
People seem to forget Moyes wasn't sacked. There was no reason for us to get rid of him. He left us in good shape.

We haven't played anywhere near the standard of last season. All our performances have been ordinary. The Wolfsburg wins for me were pretty lucky. The scores wernt a true reflection of either game.

Show me one person getting more enjoyment out of this terrible run of results and the poor form that's causing it.
