EFC-Paul reacted to Finn balor in Manchester City (Away) Saturday December 15th
Deffo looking to unsettle the two smallish centre haves with DCL and Charly

EFC-Paul reacted to aaron in January Plans
Heads out of arses lads, we aren't even in Europe, nevermind the Champions league so don't be dreaming of world class strikers...yet.
Callum Wilson is the level we should be looking at for now to get us to the next level then you replace him. Look at City when they started, they had the next step players but then replaced them when they made it to the champions league. offering "European football" doesn't have the same pull anymore when its just Europa League, players want Champions League, and until we get that then yes Wilson is good enough and what we should be going for. Don't get me wrong, I'd love the world class players here but realistically we aren't in any sort of position to be getting them.

EFC-Paul reacted to Matt in Nikola Vlasic
Energetic, great control and could pick a pass. He is made for Silva’s tactics but didn’t prosper in the previous season for no fault of his own.
Id love to get him back

EFC-Paul reacted to Sibdane in Nikola Vlasic
Assisted tonight for CSKA's 3rd goal against Real Madrid.
Surprised by how fast some people are ready to write him off already. He's young, proving himself an important player for a decent team that is having a nice championship run. Folks cry out for Besic, Dowell, etc. to get a chance but are quick to write off Vlasic just because he's playing in Russia I presume. Yes, it's a weaker league, but Moscow are no slouches by any means.
His play time here isn't even enough of a sample size to truly say he won't make it. I'm not saying he will, just surprised at the negativity. He at least deserves a chance.

EFC-Paul got a reaction from Bailey in Newcastle (Home) Wednesday December 5th
Yeah I agree it was one of those games you pull your hair out to knowing you can and should win, as you said it's only six months in and the difference is already unreal in comparison to last season
After the summer window I genuinely think we'll have a brilliant competitive side

EFC-Paul reacted to StevO in Mason Holgate
If he played for any team in the bottom half of the prem I think he would be first choice. He could do with getting out on loan for a year and then see how he gets on. A lot of talent in that lad.

EFC-Paul reacted to aaron in Watford (Home) Monday December 10th
feels like everyone is getting billy big bollocks coz we are playing Watford, who by all accounts are having a good season, so I wouldn't be risking anything and I'd play Gana with Gomes in the centre tonight, drop Tosun back to the bench and start Bernard on the left.

EFC-Paul got a reaction from Matt in Newcastle (Home) Wednesday December 5th
We had the chances we didn't bury them and lost two points to a side we should be putting away but fair play to Newcastle the had a game plan and it worked
These kind of games could come back and bite us in the arse, we need to be more clinical, hopefully we are against Watford!

EFC-Paul reacted to Wiggytop in Richarlison
No, No and No, he's a lazy self centred egotistical non team player, the exact opposite of what M+M are working to achieve.
BTW did I say NO?

The manager and having backroom staff in the likes of Dunc along with the first team players we have who have plenty of experience in this league will more than cover what desires and ethos we want and need
Baines has already stated he doesn't have a passion for the game albeit he will for the club but apparently doesn't want to hang around, Jags is surplus but I would like to see him move into the coaching in some respect Coleman has another year in him imo before he becomes completely surplus
There's very little point handing players multimillion pound contracts just for off the park experience, I can't think of many successful sides that tend to do it with said players never playing that's coaching not being a player

Haha ok, you can’t put it into words, and when you do and it’s refuted it’s the old you get it or don’t.

EFC-Paul reacted to Sibdane in Summer Transfer Window
Only problem with Mertens is he'll be 32 in May. I'm not one to normally worry about age, but that's big risk. His output has dropped slightly since 2016-17 season.

No I cant think of many either. There almost needs to be Giroud / Morata situation but with guys that score goals.

EFC-Paul reacted to DavisJD in Lucas Digne
Yes his delivery wasn’t the consistent quality we have been use to this season.
But I think you are all forgetting, he should have had 2 assists against Newcastle.
He found Gylfi in the box who had the goalkeeper to beat after a neat touch, but chose the wrong side of the goal and his shot was blocked by a defender.
He also belted a ball which found Cenk’s boot half a meter from the goal line, and it was saved.
not his best day, but his teammates let him down more than his left boot.

EFC-Paul got a reaction from Palfy in Jordan Pickford
Now the anger and disbelief has subsided I feel for him he's not the type to just think fuck it it will have an effect and he'll learn from it
Brilliant lad and keeper just had one of those days and it happened to be against that lot

EFC-Paul reacted to Zoo 2.0 in Liverpool (Away) Sunday December 2nd
Please, let's not have this shite. We lost, we fucked it up. Absolutely no excuses for that goal even if it happened in the 423rd minute. I'm sorry but that's just how it is for me. Could have. Would have. Should have.
The absolutely embarrassing run at Anfield goes on and whilst yes, looking back with a calm head tomorrow there will be positives the fact is that for yet another year we have failed to win at their place.
I'm absolutely sick.

It does not mater how many saves you make you can not fuck up like that a school boy error against them in the 95th minuet how bad does it get.

Got to be honest I’m bricking it, literally and metaphorically ( I will be in The Brick for 12 to get in the mood before the march to castle grey skull )
Novice ref, live on Sky, playing at Analfield , what could possibly go wrong ?
if these things really do even themselves out then I’m expecting us to get 45 penalties an 29 offside goals given by half time !

I'd rather draw 0-0 than lose honestly. Points are points.

EFC-Paul reacted to MikeO in Weirdness Abounds (or the Idrissa Gana Gueye Thread)
Four or five times that as it stands, more if we keep him longer and he keeps playing at the level he is.

EFC-Paul reacted to London Blue in Bernard
He just needs time, we will probably see the best of him next season. He has so much skill he will be a real asset for us.
