  1. I really want Dele to play for us again, he is such a talent, and been through so much in his life. It would just be great to see him enjoying playing football at Everton.
  2. I really like Dyche and hope he is given time to improve us. I just wish the man would find a cure for Moyes syndrome and be able make substitutions at the right times. Bringing on Dnjuma and Beto with about 20 minutes to go would have given us more energy.
  3. He is a top quality striker and goals like this prove that, not luck, instinct, something that cannot be taught. As he gets fitter and sharper the goals will come. Having Harrison and McNeil gives us a good front 3, with Beto, Chermiti and Danjuma we have depth, which is so refreshinto to see.
  4. Just glad they didn't call a foul in the build up to out goal!!
  5. He is becoming the player we hoped he would, great series of performances from him!!
  6. His passing and awareness is unreal, a top player.
  7. As others have said he improved as the game went on and it was a very good performance. I hope he gets a nice run in the team to continue to show us the player we know he is. I think he will be our right back for years, the kid has quality and fight.
  8. This season is about not being in a relegation fight, about survival. If we can achieve mid table safety then thats progress. I will take that. To be fair we have played some nice football, good football. The more flowing expansive game will come with points and safety.
  9. Unless we receive the worlds most incredibly over inflated offer DO NOT SELL HIM.
  10. Great performance, the defence and midfield were rock solid, Micky and Branthwaite were immense. Doucs had his 50p boots on, but had good energy. Just wish Dyche would make subs earlier, and more often. Reminded me of the Moyses era when we would be shouting for him to make subs. On to the next match and hopefully a win against Burnley and more momentum, and then 3 points against Brighton. COYB!!
  11. It's things like this that Bill should also be remembered for.
  12. I don't think so, I certainly hope not. This is a chance to draw a line in the sand. Bill has passed away, the club is in the process of being sold, the old board has gone. So what's the point in protesting, all the people who were to blame have either gone or are going. This is a chance to say goodbye to a fellow Blue, to remember the good times, to show class. In my opinion it would be in incredibly bad taste to do anything than give him a good send off, it would also damage the fans reputation in the eyes of the world, and further divide the club. This is a chance to bring the club together.
  13. I know we will give him a proper send off at Goodison, a week on Wednesday. Remember the good times and what he did for us. Wish I could be there, the atmosphere will be amazing.
  14. RIP Bill, thoughts and prayers with family and friends. You loved the club and although the fans lost faith in you towards the end, you will always be a "Blue" Rest easy.
  15. Just read this looking forward to listening to it.
  16. True and I agree, i just think the sanction should be more proportionate. Most clubs have a fining or additional work punishment for being late. If its consistent being late then yep short sharp shock is fine. Just don't know what else has gone on. He seems like a good lad so let's hope whatever it is is sorted. Don't want it ending up like Sancho at utd.
  17. I agree it's a useful tool to be able to leave a player out due to attitude, like not playing the team game, tracking back etc. Or not doing whats been asked of them. Dropping due to to poor form is normal and gives a player a moment of pause a chance to assess and re-focus. But dropping a player for being late to training is something that should be sorted out during the week. Dropping a player for discipline reasons should be for more serious reasons imo.
  18. An interesting question, hope you don't mind me jumping in. Dropping a player should be tone of the last sanctions you employ as a manager. In the vast majority of cases these things should be sorted out during the week, its a key part of managing people. Dropping a player for anything other than form can hurt the team, and seriously damage the relationship between the player and the manager. It also depends on if the squad see it as fair. Its a hard job.
  19. Or 50k a week for 5 years, and we can sell him for a considerable amount if he wants to leave. Or have a young quality player tied down to a long term deal along with the other quality young players we have.
