It's all on West Ham really, I canst see Spurs doing anything but losing at Leeds, I can't see Leicester getting anything from their last 2 games. So if West Ham beat or draw with Leeds we will probably be ok. If they win we will have problems.

He needs to admit he was wrong, apologise for his actions, and say he just wants to come back to be at Goodison and see Everton play and be part of us again. That is all it would take for his nonsense to be forgiven. All families have rows and people get caught up in it, just say sorry and we move on.

Godfrey is a CB, he needs to play there, he is a very good player, just needs time and an experienced CB to play along side. Mina was immense, when he is fit and on it he is a top, top defender. Hope he stays fit and plays for the remaining games and leaves with the club on a high.

He was quality last night. What impressed me the most is that he leant and adapted as the game went on. He got caught out a couple of times, then adapted and was immense. Quality performance, and I hope, as other have said, that we have our new starting right back.

I think they had to respond, otherwise it could be argued that Kenwright had put the record straight so to speak. Their reply was to the point, didn't ask any questions, and made it clear what they felt. I think it was the right idea. What we can't have now is a back and forth as it risks distracting the fans from getting behind the team, at the key part of the season.

Good comeback win today

I lived in Bristol, at the time Fred and Rose Wests horrendous crimes came to light. I was only a kid. I remember a house down our street getting fire-bombed. The guys who did it got caught, and said they were proud they did it as the guy was a pedophile. He wasn't he was a pediatrician. The people who did it were thick cunts, who took the law into their own hands. Shit like that is one of the reasons why we have a legal system. Someone is innocent until proven guilty. It's not perfect, it makes mistakes but it does give us protection and justice. We don't know what happened, probably never will. Just prey for all those affected by it, as it must be Hell to be a victim and not see someone brought to trial, or an innocent person or their family accused of being a pedophile.

Complex cases, especially ones with children can take along time to investigate. Two years is along time, but as others have said the CPS will often ask for more evidence once a case is submitted too them, which Police have to find, which can lead to more questions and so on. Ultimately CPS will decide what if anything a person is charged with. I imagine there were regular reviews of the case. The threshold is usually a realistic chance of conviction in court. With juvenile evidence this can be hard. We operate with innocent until proven guilty. So he is innocent. We don't know the facts so have to trust the decision.

If DCL is back and playing like he was before the injury we will be fine.

Trouble is, as the caution says "It may harm your defence if you fail to mention now something you later rely on in court". And then there are Special Warnings which can lead the court to infer that silence is an admission of guilt. I think the court of public opinion will matter greatly in this case, and since the Premier League have all the accounts and information already a more detailed public defense would be useful.

More detailed, i.e. we were checking our figures with the premier league, we agreed a budget with them. What the independent advisors said, what their remit was. More like that yeh.
