  1. Will be last minute transfers as we have little money and players will come to us once we are the most attractive option, which will be when most pl clubs have signed their players. So feeding off scraps. I'm sure there are some good deals to be had. I believe we will sign 3 or 4 more at least. Just a question of who, and how long they take to settle. Not to mention how good they are. Our window probably starts in a weeks time.
  2. As in it's not dead in the water. Or no as in it is dead in the water?
  3. Apparently Man Utd are looking to sign Atlanta's striker so this may be a factor in their interest.
  4. Cannon needs game time. Hopefully he won't get it here this season, but with a good loan spell maybe competing for a spot next season.
  5. Iheanacho has proven he can score goals in the Premier league. Maupay has proven he cannot.
  6. Maybe he has made it clear he won't sign one, which it's why we haven't offered one?
  7. She was excellent as ceo of Everton in the Community, winning many awards and driving it forward. But running this madhouse was beyond her, as it would be beyond many. Especially with Billy brainwashing her.
  8. Hopefully it just until the new board is confirmed after the MSP money is banked as it does say for the "period of transition". I bet he is hoping the new investment will take the pressure off him and he can stick around, but the pressure will be to great. This is just a stay of execution.
  9. You mean the career threatening injury that saw him out for over 100 days, that changed his ability to play in the premier league.
  10. He is not an attacker, so no, he does not score or assist much. He is not quick, he is average speed, he can head the ball well, and I would argue his positioning and passing choices are good, he is not rash, but does take yellow cards for the team when he has to. Is he as good as Doucoure, Gay, no, but he can come in and do a job in a good midfield if he has players that don't leave his weaknesses exposed.
  11. I think you may be a little harsh on Tom, just a tad mind
  12. From all the reports I have seen he looks ready, he is a good age to start and if partnered with Tarks then he has a good teacher. Got to be better than Keane or Holgate, plus if we don't start him soon then we will have to sell him as he will not want to stay. Plus I think he was agreed a pathway to the first team so I would be amazed if he was not given a chance for the first few games.
  13. He is a squad player who we do not have the funds to replace, he is a good footballer, loves the club and will give his all. If we had hundreds of millions to spend (again) then yes lets get someone better, but we don't, so better to have him than not.
  14. Current Player of the Season standings.... Alex Iwobi...165 Dwight McNeil...110 Jordan Pickford...81
  15. How much money would we get for him, and how much would it cost to replace him? Is it not better to keep him and let him go at the end of next season. On the books his value has to be low as he only has 1 year left on his contract. Plus if he is going on a free he will want to attract clubs.
  16. That's my point, players like Iwobi, good players who can get us to the top 10 we already have are going to be vital. We need to prioritise other areas rather than replacing a good player we aldready have.
