  1. Love seeing the players sticking up for each other. That's what it's about!
  2. Davies getting turned every time 1 v 1 against De Bruyne. Need to keep an eye on that.
  3. Get in! Excellent from Barry and Barkley to Kev to finish. Great finish too!
  4. Barry is always closing the space but the others aren't as confident. Ross, Mirallas pick and chose when they can be bothered to close and Davies/Holgate are a little bit more wary, probably because of their experience against some of the world's best.
  5. He just doesn't contribute enough to a team that everyone needs to put a shift in. He could go to another team, maybe like Soton, and start every game but at Liverpool it's a different story.
  6. Decent half of football, clear organisation and plan. The best we have looked so far as a cohesive unit without just relying on running 100mph everywhere. The weak links stand out though. Barkley is off the pace despite doing some good things, Mirallas only works hard when he wants to not when the team needs it and Funes Mori is doing somethings better than I would expect and then other things are really poor. Holgate is showing that he needs to bulk up a little because he has won the ball only to lose it in the same challenge but on the whole he has done well. Best players so far are Williams and Barry, both absolutely superb. Joel doing well too.
  7. Davies clears one off the line, great defending. Barkley has to clear instead of controlling on the edge of the box.
  8. Get in! Great work FROM Davies, Mirallas and the finish FROM Rom
  9. Mirallas is really pissing me off. Checking his runs when he needs to make them, picking the hard pass when the simple ball is on and lazy in his pressing. We also lack some options when Mori is on the ball. Couple of times he has had no choice when he has the ball at the back. I suspect it should be Ross giving him the option but can't see it on TV.
  10. Having more passing options in midfield might not be the worst idea against a pressing opposition but I'm not sure if we can pull it off. Pretty confident we will be sitting deep and playing on the counter.
  11. Also made a goal saving tackle by the sounds of it as well.
  12. I feel a bit sorry for the lad as he is rightly Baines' deputy and when he did play this year I thought he got better with every game. I guess a lot depends on what Koeman thinks of Galloway and Garbutt when they return from their loans.
  13. Personally I don't really want the govt to give away their plan. You never go into negotiations with all of your cards being on the table well before the deal has begun. I do like the idea of an election as you mention albeit it would probably have to be a bit vague given what I have said above and then we would just have the same problems we had during Brexit of being lied to by all sides.
  14. Impatient taxi drivers... seen a couple of right idiots over the last couple of days. Overtaking on bends and at junctions with cars pulling out of side roads.
  15. What I mean is, if it was 19mil up front as reported originally the add ons where going to make it up or as near to 24mil anyway and so the final deal is going to be pretty similar to the one agreed. My point is its all paper talk and all a load of bollocks. Only the club's really know what has been offered and agreed.
  16. I like that article. There is definitely something about Koeman's bullishness that I really like for all that sometimes I don't think he has to go as far as he does. I actually think that if the reporter went through every player Koeman would probably tell them which ones he wants to keep and which ones he will let go of!
  17. I think if anything the vote has confused people even more. It has been very difficult to work out what is true and what is a half truth and what is complete bollocks. Sometimes I'm not sure the politicians are even sure. Remain has certainly gone ahead but it was in the polls beforehand as well. Like you say polls don't mean as much as they used to. The "silent majority" that never gets sampled are the ones that seem to have the final say. Has anyone on here changed their opinion (either way)? Tories (and Labour) are certainly losing power locally but I also think UKIP have seen an increase as well as the Lib Dems. I expect that will reverse when the bigger elections start rolling around again in a year or two.
  18. Exactly. The lies were equally bad and equally shared!
  19. Following the deal I have only seen 20 plus add ons but no one really knows apart from the club's.
  20. Did they or was it just paper talk? Considering our first bid was allegedly 19m upfront we have still only reportedly paid 20m up front.
  21. Has anyone seen the press conference comments from Koeman about players in the squad that don't have futures at the club? I don't know if he meant all first teamers, and therefore aimed at those that aren't really playing or if he is including potentially players on the bench, like Cleverley maybe? It would explain why some of them are playing like they don't give a shit!
  22. Fucking hell lads, Martinez is done now let's move on.
