I think that will be Yacub's job. Im sure they will probably go long and quite early but both Jags and Distin have the speed and physicality to deal with him if they are on the ball.

Yeh I do. On their day they can match most teams but I think they are more of a flashy team than grinders. Put it this way I would never back them to hold on to a 1-0 lead.

Mulumbu is a very good player and definitely someone that will cause us problems if we let him have his way. I think Long will be the problem. The way he presses and closes down it will make it difficult to play out from the back so Jags and Distin need to be sharp and dont force it if the pass isnt on.

Not really a fan of playing someone who is carrying an injury (if he still is). Strong team and strong bench, should be a good game.

Fulham are an odd team. They have enough ability to get enough points but I wouldn't be surprised to see them go down at the same time.

Yeh the back 5 were very 'English' in the way they were playing. I think thats why Ledson stood out because he was dropping deep, moving around the pitch and playing those cross field balls trying to identify some space. Its not in any way surprising though as it will take a few years for the right type of players to come through. That being said we did still knock it around quite well in the second half.

Liverpool were the best team in the first half but then I think we were better in the second. I wasn't overly impressed with anyone other than Ledson tbh. His player who was next to him in midfield (Williams?) had his moments too but that standard wasn't what I was expecting tbh.

Iv seen a clip from them before and they talked utter shite that time too. You know its crap when they have a reporter from the Daily Fail.

There is more to his game than pace and power. I watched him a lot more for Wigan than I did for Chelsea and his football intelligence was better than I had anticipated for someone who is still quite raw.

Im not as sold as everyone else is tbh. Good player yes, but his best spell was under Di Matteo and I dont think he has been near that level in the rest of his Chelsea career. I definitely think Moses will be on the way out though.

cough Irish cough... For me this would be a bit like Moyes buying Felli. Its that type of signing and Felli wasnt cheap and unfortunately you wont get the McCarthy's of this world cheap. I agree that there must be players out there who are cheaper but they would be much riskier than McCarthy. £10mil is probably a fair price but I would be keen on going any higher.

Thats a bit harsh isnt it Haf. When he was here he was by far our most clinical attacking player and he probably still would be. I think his first spell here was over rated and his second was under rated.
