This is definitely always the case, and it's definitely always fucking infuriating. I'm sure this will at least be a great game to watch.

Worth a punt on Fellaini 4-4, someone got £4000 from a pound last time round.

I'm not saying we would I'm just saying we'd have to sell to the right people. I'm not in such a rush to get Kenwright out that I'd take anyone as the leader of the club. What I'm tryng to say is Kenwright is doing fine for now and will be fine until the right person comes along to drive us forward as a football club.

I love the badge pump. It's that kind of passion that will get us into Europe.

Notice people only moan about him when it's Jags out the team/position? If he played for England he wouldn't get this abuse. Guess with Anichebe being off the scape goat list there was a vacancy, they're that desperate to push the blame away from their favourites people were trying to add Gueye to the list of reasons we were having a shit run of form last month aha.
    Osman
    Hibbert
    Fellaini
    Saha
    Bily
    Anichebe
    Neville

I don't mind critisism where it's due I just hate the band-wagoning that seems to go on around Goodison. Everyone moans about Naismith and Neville each week and whilst I agree they are not world beaters they do serve a purpose in our team. I myself can't believe how much stick Heitinga is getting considering how solid he has been for us during his time here and whilst Howard needs to be replaced soon it seems as if people are trying to have him burned at the stake too.

If we don't believe in our own players who do we believe in? We need some optemism around here - and fast.

Well, judging by Moyes' FA Cup substitution tactics, it leaves one scratching his head sometimes ....

However, I must add, not the brightest commentary I've ever provided .

We're going to have to outscore them. I feel like we'll need 3 or 4 to get any type of result. If we try to park the bus at Old Trafford, we will lose, I think we just need to have a go. We may get smashed, but we may be able to get into an offensive contest with them, and maybe nab a 3-3, 4-4, 4-3, etc.. result.

I think we can take at least a point from this. Man Utd look vulnerable at the back this season, it will be a matter of outscoring them. If Moyes doesn't play around with our defence again we might have a chance of doing it.

sorry i just have to record that Goodison was as quiet as a tennis match for most of the game against WestBrom - you could hear the managers and players shouting over the microfones -
we better get the spirit going - unless most people think this serious stuff works for us

Good to meet you Atl_Toffee89 (Do you mind if I just call you Atl? )

So you were a goalie too eh? You do realise it is common knowledge that all goalies are actually quite mad?

Welcome to the Bitter, Twisted, and PROUD blues and enjoy with us the pain and joy (mostly pain) of being an Evertonian/Bluenose/Toffee.

    Hello Brothers and Sisters

I'm joining Toffee Talk from Kennesaw, GA. USA. (Just North of Atlanta). Being an American goalkeeper, I began following EFC after howard made his move to Goodison. Growing up in the US soccer system, I was surrounded by fans of either barca, madrid or the big 4...not being one to conform to social standards I chose to support a team with history, culture and pride. Everton couldn't have been a more perfect fit for me.

Now that I am a coach, I try to instill the same passion I have for the game and EFC in these youngsters. I want to let you guys know that whenever EFC takes the pitch, you have a brother in America who is yelling, singing and cheering the toffees on to Victory!

No matter where we are in this world, we are bonded by blue.

I'd be a lot more excited if we had brought in someone who could help us challenge for 4th. Still, not the guy's fault, and it looks as though he could have a good future.

No that's not what I meant, Sweden currency is euros!? Therefore if a swedish paper is reporting a bid they are going to report the amount in euros not pounds, bit like if a player moved to Japan from China, and the English press wrote an article on it, they wouldn't put his fee in yen, they'd convert it to pounds.

Surely the easiest three points of the season.....on paper. Unlikely to be so straightforward knowing us .

A win (with Spurs & Chelsea both having tricky away games) could put us right in the mix.

3-1...Vic and a late Jelly brace from the bench....having been behind at half time.

Might as well get Navas while we're there... although if they are letting players go on the cheap I think Rakitic would fit right in at Everton. Looked very good on the right for Croatia at the Euro's. As J says, not a hope.

Hadn't actually read the articles so didn't realize he's out of contract in the summer and available on the cheap. 0.5-1m for a starter for Athletic Bilbao probably is a decent deal Still wonder who'll be left out of the squad for the game though: Distin, Jagielka, Heitinga or Amorebieta, as we don't need 2 centre backs on our bench.

I'm talking about having a squad big enough to enable Moyes to rotate, and or choose players to face certain opposition, instead of having his hands tied. The new guys might be better than current players, and I'm not saying this guy would not get a start, but if we want to compete at the top, we need strength in depth.
