Do you have to be a millionaire to run your own business?
Is what your worth in đ· directly linked to your worth in đ§ ?
I suppose you could also say there must be a fair few pro footballers and top level football managers on here?

I was obsessed with business stuff in my 20s to early 30s. Used to buy all sorts of books. I do have a thick MBA one...never actually read it.
I know it's only TV, but I'd be glued to every episode of Dragons Den and The Apprentice...I'd buy all their books too!
Not sure what happened or when I veered away from it. I always wanted to work for myself from being a teen. Finally took the plunge a couple of years ago at 40...only to realise I was quite rusty! Haha. Thank fuck for mentors!!! It's gone well and, honestly, I can't see myself ever being employable now đđđ

I fucking hate them and I hope us, Forest, Leicester (and whoever they decide to target next while they avoid the big fish of City and Chelsea) bring the whole thing tumbling down.

like an oracle. The deduction is exactly between 1 and 3 points.Â
Â
I'm less fussed about 2 points being deducted this go around than I am the process in general. It's just been one giant circus.

The insurance policy is that if we get a deduction then Forest should too, which (all being equal) will keep them behind us along with Sheff U and Burnley, and probably Luton.

Were so bad with the ball we can't even maintain possession for two minutes when we have an extra man. Â Gave them chance after chance and finally paid for it.Â

Many missed chances.  Tarkowski, Garner, Doucouré, DCL twice.

I agree there is an agenda, but I don't hold with any conspiracy theories that they donât like us so thatâs why we are where we are.Â
I think there agenda is too try and prove that they are in control of their own house and donât require intervention from the government, so in doing so they have gone over board with the points deduction, even though they will say the points deduction was handed out by an independent commission, they did advise that commission to deduct 6 points for the crime and 1 point for every 5 million over, so low and behold we get a 10 point deduction, even though the so called independent commission said they ignored that advice from the PL, really?Â

RIP and a big thank you to Bill for his thoughtful contributions and being a staple of ToffeeTalk. I'm sorry for the loss, though if he is indeed 96 year old Billy Ingham, no doubt a long life fully lived. My condolences, Patto.
Â
As a general note, this is an opportunity to thank all of you for contributing to this community - as someone who came to this forum as a new football fan and new Evertonian, I have learned so much from being a member here and thank all of you for increasing my knowledge, football, Everton, and many things else and I preemptively forgive all of you for the brain damage you've caused me on Brexit and Romelu Lukaku.

Itâs funny really, when the Sly 6 wanted to belittle the Premier League which club was it that was loudest in defending the Premier League? Thatâs right, it was Everton Football Club.
Now they seem hellbent on trying to destroy us. Cunts.Â

If we take another points deduction this season, and then they change the rules in the summer and it doesnât happen to another club, itâs going to be very tough to continue to be a supporter.Â
All the talk of this tonight has got me thinking do I just ride it out until weâve had our first season in Bramley-Moore, just so Iâve finished at Goodison and done the move with my Dad. Itâs exhausting and itâs cruel.
Our fans have complained for years and even decades about how badly run this club is, no sustainability rules stepping in the sort the club out and actually help the club be sustainable. But now they hand out punishments while City refuse to talk to them. Then they might just change the rules, probably to settle it with City so they donât get embarrassed by their expensive lawyers.Â
Itâs out of hand, out of order and out of control. The Premier League have no idea what they are doing and clearly are making it up as they go. This isnât the game weâve been watching all of our lives. This is something else and frankly itâs fucking shambles.Â
