We could have Adolf Hitler as a potential captain.

Very attack minded and points almost as good as Neville. Perfect for our Movember period too.

Yeah of course I would, but I wouldn't roll around like I'd been shot like that Tit did. He's probably some shite academy player who thinks he's Bertty big Bolox on the pitch and dives around like Bale or Ronaldo. It was embarrassing!! It's sad that we see shit like that from people not even on the pitch nowadays!!

Lot of good constructive stuff on this subject.
Go away you 'Jelly's crap' people. Players just don't turn crap overnight you titheads. This is all about lack of service and the fact that Fellaini plays too far forward attracting high balls from defenders who often have no other option because the midfielders are hiding. Watch how many times a midfielder will not move into a space where the ball-carrier can see him. Defenders then hoof it and midfielders who have the ball are forced into holding it too long and running into trouble (ie Naismith, Peanuts and Osman).
Fellaini won't work enough except for himself and since about October has done f-all because he is so tightly marked......a one-trick pony! Did we miss him when he was banned? Arguably we played the best football of the season at that time.
Moyes must get midfield to play for the team and move around FFS. Get midfield up the park doing what they are supposed to do, give the ball-carrier options and allow the forwards to get some ball. And allow Jelly and Anichebe to be poachers and/or goalscorers and not have to run their arses off (a la Moyes' workhorses) out on the wings to get a touch of the ball!

Quinn31 reacted to Oztoffee in David Moyes - sign or go ?
Honestly, I think Moyes is thinking, "I've has 10 years here with an 8/10 and not likely to get better".
If he gets us to CL, I think he'll stay...if not he has to move on, just for his own peace of mind (ie "can I do more elsewhere?")
I voted neutral on the subject, last season I would have voted for him to go. I've mellowed a little and Moyes has learned a little, but not enough for both of us to be ever truely happy .

So there we go another promising young black player throws away his dignity to join a poor racist team in a racist league for a heap load of cash because that's something I've never seen before!

I don't think Moyes is a negative manager. Look how our side plays when Jelavic is in form, and Pienaar, Mirallas, Osman, Gibson are all fit. We are a very threatening side on the attack that can play very positive football. To call him defensive minded is a bit unfair I think because I think for many years with a lack of a solid striker, and creative wingers in the side, we just made due and played compactly and grinded out results.

I dont think stubbsy will have made those comments without knowing that moyes will be ok with them - unless the boyhood blue fan is coming to the surface and he is stating what every fan wishes for - the money to back the manager.

Has moyes got to the stage where he has banked all the money he needs and he can afford to go for a high risk job and he is asking for our so called board to cough up some of the money they are sitting on... we are IMO 3-4 signings away from a top 4 team, I think most people can see that.

Can't drop points against WBA and Villa. But then again we couldn't drop points against Southampton and Swansea either. We'll probably start recording wins consistently when 4th is out of sight.

Fellaini showing class tonight. But I'm sick of our play revolving around him. Completely stifles our creative side.

I'm keeping my eye on Wallace, I follow him on twitter and he seems a very level headed and footy focused lad. He is captain of rovers and clearly has some leadership attributes. If Phil Neville has made a career for himself in the top flightbased on leadership then anything is possible for this lad. He loves a tackle and puts a shift in.

Adam Forshaw, Jose Baxter, and James Wallace all were offered contracts I believe but chose to leave because they wanted first team football regardless of whether it was at a lower level or not.

    Sorry Howard I missed that

Could well be a good fit for Stoke as a physical player, what with their bully boy tactics sometimes. I can appreciate the temper issue also.

nothing wrong with admiring someone who does the same as you, but better
As for Coleman, im not having a go at his technical ability, because it barely exists. He is improving with each season but he will never be a technical player in my eyes... Thats not to say hes not a good player, but his strengths are speed, determination and strength.

For competition, and the sale of actually having a squad of players, comes in handy with injuries, we could do a lot worse. He wouldn't be on massive wages and shouldn't command a large transfer fee. If be happy if he came in.
