I don't need any damn music to be in the mood to take a swing at someone or go on the offensive.

Dalziel Kane got a reaction from patto in mid 80s EFC question
I remember the music of the time but wasn't a fan of the band in question. I could only name or two of their releases and We shall not be moved, wouldn't have been one of them. But the bottom line on this issue once again is, the initial chant couldn't have been used, unless one or two of our supporters couldn't make a distinction between England and Europe.

For example, Swansea City fans leaving London today, would not have been singing 'we are the champions of the world' you understand.

Now that I think about it, and while relevant to this issue, isn't it true that what we won in 1985 was indeed 'The Liverpool cup' in that the shite won the 1984 European Cup and the subsequent ECWC competition was dedicated to them ? I don't like to think about it, but it's what the competition title suggested.

Under David Moyes Everton Football Club won't win again a trophy etc etc etc

18 Years now, and it won't change with the Scot in charge. Simply folds when the going gets tough in the later rounds or in high pressure cup games.

Thanks for the 11 years of service, you've done great in getting the club champions league soccer and some other finishes of recognition, but what have we actually won. There's no prizes for a 5th or 6th place finish in the EPL. You've had over a decade and taken us as far as you are able, but the time is upon us where you need to consider employment elsewhere.

That's what's going wrong here essentially.

Arguments starting between supporters of our own club and all because of a drawn game we were very near to winning.

Most of us will be upset now, but at least once again, we are still invoved, and should win the replay.

There's no sense in arguments with each other. Going for a hot shower to calm down

    Norwich Away ?

There's nothing wrong with the colors presented, and there was a big debate about it, but do people want to see ? I think what we have here is good enough. Some people don't even have their sight or any colors and I think we take some things for granted. Appreciate it...

Why do all library workers just stand around like a lot of useless cunts doing nothing. Days work constitutes swtiching off a monitor or closing some blinds or just standing around with their banal mundane and fucking boring conversations. Five fifths of fucking useless, but that's all I have to say on the issue.

I have Millwall as a favorite London soccer side so there could be some scope for soccer hooligan elements there.

Next thursday, in the parking lot of Poundland in Lewisham - bring your crew

No, as said, we don't have that kind of issue with Liverpool. Supporters have been well documented to sit with each other. They may not like each other, but it's good natured enough and they have to realize, that without Everton Football Club - they wouldn't even exist.

If you watch a recording of the 1986 or '89 FA cup finals (or 1991 Fifth round games as another example) you will see shite, sorry, Liverpool supporters and our fans in close proximity, and just let the best side win. There's no real thing as soccer hooligan elements between our supporters.

Neville could make his 300th appearance in all competitions for Everton tomorrow.

Neville may be in his mid 30s now, but that's no signal for any player to end their careers. I don't expect him to play for as long as Shilton or Sheringham but he's still a competent player and can provide something, and has been a good professional not only here but at previous clubs. Decent example of a team leader.

In all seriousness, this seems like a good a reason as any for official match day thread. In actual fact, I kind of like it when a complete nobody or someone unrecognized suddenly charges in and starts these things, but I don't think that was even the authors intention here. It's just categorized in the correct place, and I felt - good enough. Damn just as well this wasn't done yesterday, I would have gone into cardiac arrest or something.

I know this is next league fixture though, but we've got the Oldham FA cup game to come yet of all things before the trip to these rustics.

Bit premature, but it's going to be difficult over there for this. Hughton has done a good job and they've got some good players and have beaten some big names this season at Carrow Road. But I think this will be an exciting game.

In all probability we won't even qualify for the Champions League. Does anyone really think we can get fourth place this season, fighting along with those red fucks , Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for example. Born pessimist or not, fuck all that, I just don't think we will quite do it, but just quote me at end of season. a UEFA cup place is the probably the plausible achievement for this season. Just have been unimpressed with recent performances, it's all very well having a poor game as a one off or two and getting some European reward, but it's more frequent with us, and that'll cost us at end of season. Obviously would want to see the club actually do it, but I do have serious reservations on this

Strange how Aston Villa actually decide to play decent and actually try to redeem themselves at the worst time possible, when before they simply let themselves and supporters down with some lacklustre efforts.

Never expected them to score three times today, nobody could have seen that coming. I thought before time it would be a close contest with maybe a goal or two in it, but this was something else. Fellaini has been under the spotlight recently, and today proved his worth once again with a two goal haul and saved us at the end from a defeat. It's a disappoiting result on paper, or at least thrilling to the neutral observers, but we did avoid defeat right at the end and it's still only three league defeats all season thus far, but it just seems like points lost to many, in that many thought before time we really were going to see three points today. I didn't see the Heitinga incident, maybe get a chance later. But however you feel about him, have to applaud Fellaini for getting us out of a hole and a share of the points today, but still a disappointing outcome, despite the late draw to save ourselves.

Someone explain it, because I'm at a compete loss. I almost caused a scene, but it really was no great surprise.

Halloween shit in stock by July, Christmas garbage by September etc, so what can you do. I feel like fucking screaming sometimes

Dalziel Kane got a reaction from Sibdane in Why do people hate America ?
We talk about the harshness of some countries punishments, but to the above, in Singapore they take action for even 'inappropriate behavior' towards women, 'inappropriate touching', and even 'inappropriate language' can constitute a jail sentence of up to two years. Or though lesser punishments would seem more likely, such as a caning, mere fine, or a 'variety of punishments', whatever the fuck that entails.

Story is, most of us may complain from time to time about where we reside, but on the face of it, we're really qute liberated with regards to many other countries around the world and how even the most innocuous things we may see, can result in harsh outcomes by others who deem them beyond the pale. I wouldn't last five minutes in some of these nations damn it.

Are you suggesting I looked up scores and results from years back. I don't need to do no damn reference or search for past statistics when it's merely all I remember and was aware of. I got more results knowledge than you, or many could comprehend, I don't need to 'google' fucking results, it was only 23 years ago, and I remember it all like yesterday. Not bad for an american who knows nothing about 'soccer' right ? 'Google results', damn it

As for Oldham fan page, how the hell do I know where they were a century ago or who's team mascot etc. Not everyone who registers is going to a supporter of the club.

Maybe you did a start one thread to many in recent times, I get a bit angry about that sometimes with any participants, be it here, or any other forum page you can think of. It wasn't anything personal you understand, it's just the principle of the thing. On James Bond page for example, there's one or two annoying kids who see it necessary to start a new thread every 20 minutes about 'what flavor cat food does your pet enjoy' to 'what's the strangest thing you have in your attic'. Gets on my fucking nerves it really does.

I hope you get those PMs seen to and responded, but it is better just to bite your fucking tongue sometimes, than cause a scene, as before, as my editing of a recent response demonstrated

Dalziel Kane got a reaction from Matt in David Moyes - sign or go ?
Moyes only arrived in around March or April of 2002 to one response, so most of what the club achieved that season (2001/02) was Smith's work, and Kenwright, or anyone (hopefully) wouldn't have put a poor season down to just a new manager and their two months or so in charge towards an end. Although it was Smith, and not Moyes that took us to an FA cup quarter final that season I remember.

2003/04 was a bit further on in time, and the club had a poor season, even with the kid prodigy Rooney involved, but of course the very year before we did well and almost grabbed a UEFA cup place, and it was only a year or two into the Moyes tenure, so you can appreciate the clubs patience. And lo and behold, that was rewarded the very next season, as we obtained champions league soccer of all things.

I think in retrospect we did the right thing in keeping him employed here for a few years more, but have to say again I really don't think there's any further the Scot can take us, in way of achievements
