KinL reacted to Harv in Youssef Chermiti
He wasn’t tearing up trees but all things considered he put in a decent performance. He is definitely worth more game time, that much was obvious. I look forward to seeing more of him.

KinL reacted to Matt in Youssef Chermiti
I think the praise is largely linked to the relative pressure he was under today. He could've hidden but he didn't. Masses to improve on but, all things considered, did extremely well.

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Youssef Chermiti
I think you are underestimating how difficult it is playing lone striker feeding off scraps with Doucoure struggling to be on your wavelength.
19 year old kids don't put performances in like that. No he wasn't dcl vs Liverpool - but relevant to his experience it was superb.

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Youssef Chermiti
I don't think he's where we want him to be - but in terms of his top level exposure that was a pretty amazing performance for a lad so young.
The positions he took were great, strong in his duels, needs work on his speed but looks so well rounded. His blocked volley looked like it was going bottom corner.
brentford can keep Maupay

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Youssef Chermiti
Worth watching back.
very very subtle and clever. One touch lay offs, won a fair few headers. For 19 in his first premier league start against a very good centre half in pinnock he did very well.

If only he'd managed to connect on McNeil's cross early in the game. What a start and confidence-booster that would have been.

KinL reacted to Romey 1878 in Vitaliy Mykolenko
I'm gutted that he'll miss the rest of the season with torn ankle ligaments.

KinL reacted to Newty82 in Home vs Brentford 27.04.2024
Phew. Another 3 and a clean sheet.
We looked much better in the 2nd half, looking for the goal. Once we got it, we took the pace out of the game.
4 wins in the last 5. With 4 clean sheets.
Christ. The fuckin club.
Anyway, safe for another year. Without the points deduction we'd be level with Brighton in 12th.
Hopefully, all the shit off the pitch can get sorted and allow us, as a club, to focus on moving forward.

Agree, got a lot of potential. Give him the rest of the games.

Proper centre-forward performance from him tonight.
I'm so happy for him.

What a prick trying to steal Branthwaite's goal though, eh?

KinL reacted to Hafnia in Weirdness Abounds (or the Idrissa Gana Gueye Thread)
Yeah brilliant. Maybe Onana could look on and see what a midfield performance is meant to look like.
posing prick sat getting splinters while a bloke 12 years older done more running in 90 minutes than he has in 2 months.

He was most definitely on it today a huge game from him and Gomes in midfield, we even managed to play possession football because of their control and passing.

Still got pace. Incredible athlete.

I keep expecting his legs to fall off but it just does not look like happening.
It seems he really loves it here too. He was singing along with the fans as he went down the tunnel last night.

KinL reacted to StevO in Jordan Pickford
I dread the day we have to find a replacement for him. Nothing was getting past him tonight.

Not given enough credit for the Nunez save, great game, commanded his area very well - much better than usual.
