Enjoyed watching him last night. In fact, I thought that midfield 3 was awesome and complomented each other quite well.
I've always thought Davies was a good compliment to Gana. Leave Gana back to do the scruffy stuff, as he's a little terrier, although Davies to go further forward has he has that bit of extra 'flair' if you like. Both will run through brick walls for you.
Gomes in the mix. That guy is just a pure athlete and has a bit of everything.
Keep these 3 in, as long as they perform this way, and we'll be a much more solid team. Back to basics Marco.

You've proven my point perfectly. Because we've spent £250m in 3 years, fans are falling into the trap of thinking our squad has to be top class and it must be the manager. 
Go look at the squad we had in 03/04 - we had better centre backs, better central midfielders and better strikers than we do now. We were awful that season, and yeah, Moyes was getting panned. We finished fourth the season after. 
All this 'Silva out' stuff, sorry its just knnejerk rubbish from fans that need to blame someone for their club going through the wringer. If after another summer of rebuilding what I see as a rubbish squad we are still in this position come November, I'll be joining the calls for his head. But 7 months in I find calling for him to be sacked fucking ridiculous.

If you don't rate a player he can never have a good game, can't play a pass or make a tackle; he can make no contribution to the team whatsoever and is possibly the worst player ever to wear the shirt. Any decent play by him you were talking to your mate/in the toilet/opening a beer/washing your hair (delete as applicable) so missed it.

Just before Wolves 3rd goal I was thinking we own the possession but do little with it. We move the ball so slowly. We could do with moving at speed...ping pong ping...then Wolves go and do exactly what I was thinking. Pick up the ball, a few passes, shoot, score. All at pace and with intent.
At the moment, not many want to take ownership of making something happen.

I feel he may just be passing his peak this season. But what a find he has been!
