I can honestly say I sat there watching (at home of course!!!) thinking 'what the fuck is he doing?'...then I seen his 'run up' and again thought 'what the fuck is he doing?'.

Sky maybe added a bit of spice. But the chilli was already burning.

    Mikes right.

Jags was doing something to his boots on the half way line so wasn't looking. Barry was walking away so didn't see. Martinez was talking to a member of staff so didn't see. Lukaku and Naismith were closest to Mirallas and tried to tell him, no good. Baines is a lover not a fighter, so that's that. And Barkley looked like he was stoned as Mirallas walked past.

    What are we expecting here?

I'm not a fan of all this conspiracy stuff. All this finding problems. We have had genuine visible problems this season. Us fans don't need to find more!

That's a great point Jazzy...his strategy with Ross is the same as it is with Barkley.

It's not just confidence. It's a belief that the worst is behind us and we will go on a very good run. It is coming. It's a belief that I have had for a bit that this team can't play so shit all season.

I know people will disagree with me. 2 points in this...no wins in that...but I believe in what is coming.

If I'm wrong, well, fool me. If I'm right...fool s lot more than me.

    Disappointed.

I know some are going to get hysterical, but we didn't do much wrong. We really didn't. As a team I mean. Some individual s were very poor..Barkley, Naismith. Then of course Mirallas.

But we did go for it. The subs were positive. We tried. And tried.

It's kind of a twisted compliment when a team comes to you, even when you aren't in a good run of form, and parks 9 players around the 18 yard box for 94 minutes.

Poor tonight. Looked a shadow of his real self. Never looked keen to get on the ball, and when he did, he didn't really do much with it.

Gutted for him. He doesn't deserve the flack, he didn't tell everyone to expect so much from him.

Get him out. Let him chill for a bit.

Read the whole thread and others to understand the full meaning of what I was saying. Not particularly aimed exclusively at your comments.

Also, as I said, Jags was on the half way line bending over. You want to see him run half the pitch and confront Mirallas when Baines is already talking to him? Baines should gave been firmer, no doubt.

Also Romey, can you use your superior powers to delete these bastard WUM's? (Not MC11...we're all used to him now!!!)

    Half time...

We ain't doing that much wrong. Baggies clearly set out for a draw. 9 players around the 18 yard box? That's tough to break down. But we could do more.

Stones is leading the way for me. Class so far. Naismith has pissed me off a few times with piss poor passes. Lukaku so so...getting crowded out a lot. Barkley...forgot he was playing until 41 minutes! And he's central.

I was thinking...A goal for us would open this right up.

And we get a penalty!!! Get in.

But who the fuck decided that a player who has scored 15 of 16 penalties doesn't take it? Look at the replays...Mirallas has decided that himself. Naismith, Lukaku, Martinez all looked bemused. Disgusting behaviour. Absolutely disgusting. And the run up was shite!

He's at an age where he wants to be starting regular. And he hasn't been, so may be a bit of 'egotistical ' upset there. Which isn't surprising really.

I seen him recently, I think before the Man City game, giving the players loads of chat. Really trying to rally them. That's a good thing. But if he is doing it daily and trying to control more than he should in his role as a senior player, then that's no good.

I'm glad he joined us. If he moves on, so be it. We seen some quality glimpses of him.
