bigdunc11 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 http://www.goal.com/en/news/1713/liverpool...or-everton-loan Cant see it happening but Benitez obviously has lost faith in him having not even put him on the bench for todays game. Theres no doubt hes a quality player and if anyone can get the best out of him its Moyes..

Theres no doubt hes a quality player and if anyone can get the best out of him its Moyes.. Signing him by means of a purchase is one thing a loan deal is another, as he claims to be a life long red, dont they all, then not on loan for me although can you see the Onion allowing him to come here, its crap
MikeO Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 The deal that has reportedly been offered to Everton is that they will take Keane on loan until the season finishes but the Reds will still pay the Irishman's wages. Just reading that bit shows that it's a completely fabricated story (by someone with very little brain). Laughable.
c1982 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Just reading that bit shows that it's a completely fabricated story (by someone with very little brain). Laughable. Bluekipper seem to think there's some truth here - 5 fish!
troy8 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 After reading earlier in the year on Goal.com that Lampard had already signed for Inter Milan, I decided against believing any stories that come from there. I will do the same with this story.
chicagoblue Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I'll eat my shoes. What kind of garbage is this? Why don't we start up our own rumor site, I'm sure we can come up with more reliable leads than this trash.
Neil S Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Looks like a wind up by Blue Kipper. All other reports followed this. They have gave it 5 fish, but they did the same with Kaka
Guest efctaxi Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Moyes has been after Keane for many years . I don't want anyone here that doesn't ' want ' to play for Everton , so as far as I'm concerned , he can enjoy his Liverpool career and stay away .
MikeO Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I don't want anyone here that doesn't ' want ' to play for Everton , so as far as I'm concerned , he can enjoy his Liverpool career and stay away . Agreed. Lifelong Liverpool fan who finally got his dream move, though I think "enjoy" might be the wrong word.....endure would be closer to the truth . Pure 100% eighteen carat bollocks.
aaron Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 no thanks, no confidence and that is what a striker needs.
CraccerC Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 11/4 favourites to sign him according to paddypower
MikeO Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 11/4 favourites to sign him according to paddypower True. I'd still be very surprised. SkyBet have got him at 16-1 to be with Everton after the window though, 2-7 that he's still at Liverpool (5-1 City, 8-1 Spurs) . Serious money to be made if anyone really thinks it's going to happen!
CanadaToffee Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Not gonna happen, but... ...he could be a great player under a decent manager
Ten Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Still a Red tho... ...........altho might be the burning fire that ignites his form, knowing how bad they treated him!?
aaron Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 just heard on ssn that spurs have had informal talks about taking him back the shite heart lane
t-cahill Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 i wouldnt actually want him here but i think he could be a decent player for us if we were to get him. As LeToffeeCanadian said "Great Player under great manager".

As LeToffeeCanadian said "Great Player under great manager". He can do one for me, a lifetime red and calling us too small, tosser
dmac Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 He can do one for me, a lifetime red and calling us too small, tosser Exactly, he might be an ok striker and proven in the prem but he’s got the shite in his heart, we don’t need him rocking the boat and upsetting the balance we have
Everton_Worshiper Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 He can do one for me, a lifetime red and calling us too small, tosser Agreed - he can come and clean the academy players boots until the end of the season if he wants though.

scouse Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 Hes better than anything weve got here at the moment. Have to agree with Bill on this one, wouldnt mind taking him on loan in Jan and say Bently as part of the Penuts deal (if that goes ahead).
MikeO Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 Fee agreed with Birmingham... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/birmingham_city/9362485.stm ...phew.
