MikeO
Signed a new two year deal. Didn't realise he was as old as nineteen.....reserve player of the season last year....could he challenge for a first team place? http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/new-...-for-agard.html
Everton_Worshiper
My favourite reserve player last year. I was touting him for a place last season, maybe this season is his turn...

Ian C
Anichebe has a place?
Everton_Worshiper
Hopefully he can take Anichebe's place Similar stature but more pace and looks better striking the ball (if that makes sense).

marcopaulo
sure he was on the bench a couple of times last season or is that my imagination goin wild again?
jamiemaher85
He was on the bench a few times last season, though that was more to do with the depletion of our first squad in conjunction with 7 subs being brought in, than it was to do with his own talent. Adpom
likely to break in to the first team this time around?
Bill
Doubtfull, in fact i would say no.
jamiemaher85
I agree with Bil 100%. And if he does it will be beacuse of a horrific injury crisis. I'd send out on loan to Championship for a year. He'll progress quicker that way, if he is too progress that is!. Send him to preston with Irvine for the year. I was just thinking that, agard and baxter will be looking to knock on the door this season, but we're likely to play 1 up top alot of the time so they'll both be behind Yak, Jo, Saha, Vaughan and Chebe - I wouldn't actually mind if anichebe goes if we can get a few mil for him or use him as bait (e.g. ledley deal). Think baxter needs a year in ressies but for agard after being ressie player of season his next move must be 1st team bench (which will be unlikely with all striking options fit) or he needs to be loaned out. StevO
i think there was only really vaughan who done well upfront in the reserves, 5 goals in 7 games. good look to agard, hopefully he'll develop well in the next two years to get himself in the first team, or at least get a good career out of the game
Everton_Worshiper
Agard scored 2 goals against Airbus on Saturday...still I think he is going to Austria with reserves rather than USA with 1st team.
