Liverpool's most affordable match-day ticket is the most expensive in the division at £38, while Arsenal's most expensive seat is again the highest with some in their top category costing £126, though the club says that "accounts for less than 100 match-day tickets available per top-category fixture".

Shocking. The 'most affordable' ticket...

And he's right.

In regards to the B team situation, it could work but he's also right about forgetting the 'mother' club's history.

Having an affiliate team, is the best move. But i'd only target clubs who go into liquidation or are really struggling financially. They can balance the books by selling their players and Everton (or whoever) can send in a load of youngsters to carry on and keep competing.

i imagine the "dropping like flies because of the heat" excuse might come into play, with some validity too!

December the max daily temperature there is 24 degrees and January it drops to 20, so no problem in that respect :).

Vegas made me sad and feel dirty. Such a horrible place

Some people think Las Vegas AKA Sin City is just all bright lights and fun, but there's a darker edge away from the neon signs and gambling centers, that casual tourists or visitors don't always get to see.

The average team age supplied by that (above) link is just about the right number incidentally. Older players have departed, but still maintain a blend of experience.

Losing Phil Neville knocked us back about 5 years!

Just found this out about one of the "big three" of Greek football, AEK Athens. Crazy.

The 2012-2013 season was written with the darkest letters in the glorious history of our team. Due to financial problems AEK sold many players so AEK’s legend Thomas Mavros took club's management and became president in an effort to save the club from financial disaster but quit two months after. Due to the bad results the coach V. Vlachos was fired and Ewald Linen was hired as A.E.K.'s head coach. He was also fired after disappointing results and AEK hired as head coach Traianos Dellas, trying to reverse the situation, the result remained unfavorable to AEK though, since it was demoted for the first time in its history in Football League. However in June 7th,2013 after an AEK Athens council, it was decided that A.E.K. F.C. would become an amateur club and they would not participate in the Football League division for the season 2013-14.The club "self"relegated and will participate to the amateur Football League 2 division.

Club with a 70,000 seat stadium playing amateurs....even more bizarre than the Rangers situation.

Sad that. I can see it being a regular thing in the modern game.

The sheff wed lad sounds like a lovely bloke - no sympathy for him whatsoever. Thug.

as for sessegnon he will just pay someone to drive him and get taxis - hardly any consequence to him that ban. Just hope he doesnt do it again - surely the lee hughes case is a lesson???
