Zoo
De Gea is surely the missing one... wasn't it from a.madrid for £18m? Indeed, De Gea is the one that Pete missed. He signed from Athletico Madrid this season for £18.9 million, well done for getting all of them people. Another quiz will be up tomorrow!

c1982
Surprised a few aren't on there so guessing oldies?! O'Leary should he there, maybe Wright but he was at palace for a long time, bould too. Also bob Wilson and pat rice aren't they part of the furniture (literally). Zoo
I'll leave this quiz open seeing as people are talking about it still (and not many answers have been guessed so far). O'Leary is right (he's actually made the most appearances out of anyone) so well done for that shout. Bob Wilson is wrong but Pat Rice is right, so well done for picking up two points mate! Dalziel Kane
No Ian Wright? I hated him as a player, always did well against Toffees What about Ted Drake or Cliff Bastin, maybe Brady too but I'm not sure about him

Zoo
George Armstrong Peter Shorey ^those are right. The third answer does have the name 'John' too, so that narrows it down a bit! Well done to you Mike.

Zoo's Question of the Day Round 18: Which player scored a hat-trick in one game scoring each goal against a different goalkeeper? (I'll add in points too if you can name me the keepers he scored against). 1 - Alvin Martin (correctly answered by MikeO, assisted by J). 2 - Martin Thomas (correctly answered by J). 3 - Chris Hedworth (correctly answered by J). 4 - Peter Beardsley (correctly answered by J). Lowensda
Alvin someone, heard that a couple of weeks ago on the radio weirdly enough, he was at West Ham? and he was a defender? Sure it was something mad like three keepers and not just 2?
MikeO
Alvin Martin was a centre back at Wet Spam. (Why was Alvin Stardust the first name that came to my mind?")
Zoo
Well done MikeO! (and J for getting the team right). The person to do it was indeed Alvin Martin whilst playing for West Ham against Newcastle United in 1986. I'll leave the question open so you can try and guess which keepers he put the ball past (with obviously the clue being that it was against Newcastle United). Zoo
I said a while ago that if someone says the answer then they can have the points. I think it would be very harsh (and would probably cause some bother) if people posted the correct answer without fully meaning it and not being credited as the first person to guess correctly. You put Alvin Martin in your answer and I felt that that justified you having the points - that's just the way I've been working it. Keep going anyways, the three goalkeepers need to be found.
