Hafnia
We need a proper apology from him or he can go. He's a gobshite, the signs have been there. Telling the Belgian boss not to take januzaj the world cup etc etc. 1 game in 3 he looks amazing. The rest he just can't be arsed.
gethinO
He can piss off after tonight. So angry with him. You could see Naismith and Rom point at Baines and say give it to him but he completely blanked them and went straight to the spot. Maybe Baines should have been more firm with him and told him to piss off. Or even Jagielka - our club captain.

But then it gets into a confrontation between team mates which would have looked worse and disturbed Baines concentration; was down to Mirallas, nobody else. Lowensda
He's an egotistical b*astard. Thinks he's bigger than the club. Wants a big move and wanted to add to his goal tally to get noticed. Piss off.
Peter H
Is this the knee-jerk thread? No its a thread about Mirallas and after tonight we are all entitled to have an opinion about what happened. Mirallas is a world beater on his day but he acted like he is bigger than the club tonight. Cost us a couple of points. (Maybe)

Baines was also weak! You can't defend him, but you are by basically saying it's Martinez or Baines' fault for being too "weak." Get your head out of Mirallas' ass. Lowensda
If Cake is rightm about him not being there at half-time, he can fuck off Steven Naismith, speaking about Kevin Mirallas' half-time substitution: "The manager came in and had his normal team-talk at half-time. I think Kev has come off with an injury. Think that is what it was more than anything else, he never came in the changing room so I am sure it was an injury. Hafnia
MC you and your need to be right has been brought to a head tonight. You would get a little bit of respect if you said what 99% of the fans are saying. Instead you just revert to type. Even pulis is being asked about it. MikeO
This is not the first time a player has taken the ball off another player. It happens. But you're suggesting that it should have been taken back, destroying Baines concentration. And who in the hell before has taken the ball of the best premier league penalty taker in history? Sounds like RM stopped him from going into the changing room. Perhaps not wanting the players to argue with him about the penalty. Commentators over here speculating that we might not see Kev in an Everton shirt again.(i dont agree with them ) he does deserve to be put on the bench for the next game though. Give Oviedo a chance instead. I like his attitude
